You should get one or a gaming pc. Pc is still king though

Saved me a ton of effort of changing the button for the power buttons on controller ty

One update that xbox does need that you can see 100% of your background picture so it like if you hold down the y button for 3 seconds all you see is your gamer tag, achievements and the time plus battery bar and all you need to get the rest back is to press any button on your controller.

Wow! I first went all in on Series X during the Pandemic. Been a multi platform guy, but too expensive now. So I am glad now I went Xbox instead of PS5 this gen.

There’s nothing on the Xbox side to play. That’s the only reason I won’t buy. Otherwise it’s a great console.

I went with series X as well. Why do you feel the way you do? I got mine because it was available at the time, backwards compatibility, Microsoft Flight Simulator AND emulation options.

@dont7327 I have GamePass but I rarely play MS Flight Sim. But I refuse to delete it cause it took so long to download! I feel like the Xbox Icons have all been flops on SeriesX. Halo Infinte, Forza Motorsport and Starfield have all come up short. So I traded all my old PS4 stuff for a PS5. Xbox got to step it up.

My TV supports Dolby Vision, but it seems EVERY HDR game is output into DV by the Xbox, even if it isn’t a DV game. Is there a way to make sure Xbox outputs the appropriate HDR format; HDR 10 or DV, rather than putting everything into DV?

Yeah works best if port plug into is true HDMI 2.1 for max performance as specially if tv got gaming support for Dolby vision like LG does.

Xbox series x is a dope system

I keep hearing that Dolby vision is suppoted by 100s of games but every time i look up the list its always the same 10-12 games. Can someone actually find out what these hundreds of games supposedly are?

I thought the FPS thing was misleading. The console will output 120hz to compatible TV regardless of the actual FPS of the game. Playing Starfield or Forza will be at 120hz but the the frame rate won't.

Series X is legit! I can't play on the one X. The Series ruined it. Lol

Sorry but HGIG on LGC2 works better than Dolby on most games.

You forgot to mention it’s around 349-400$ at Walmart/ Microsoft. Got mine today!

If I could really make things just the way I like them, I would remove all advertising from the first screen, and be allowed to move my tile’s wherever I want, it’s a shame the maker of windows, still can’t innovate, in a space they dominate in.

Dolby Vision makes my screen yellowish. HDR is the way to go on Xbox

To be fair there sir, the Xbox series x and the PlayStation 5, Or should I say this generation of consoles, suffered a massive pushback over the last two or three years from shortages in chips to people not having jobs. The pandemic really screwed things up this generation. That's why analysts are literally saying it seems like the beginning of this console generation is actually right now. People are buying into this console generation more than ever now so this could honestly be considered the beginning of next-gen. I guess we were just beta testing for three years lol
