You Need This Sander - AirCat 6-inch Random Orbital Sander [WITH VAC]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The AirCat 6700 6-inch Random Orbital is a great start to becoming dust free in your shop. With the central vac model, you get a dust extraction port that removes almost all of the particulate the Aircat sander is removing from the surface.
Aircat 6700 Sander: bit.ly/2JX4Y1e
The dust extractor or vacuum that will be attached to the Aircat will pull the residual through the holes in the sanding disc, through the Aircat sander pad, through the dust port, and finally into the vacuum or dust extractor.
At just around $125, this is cheap and valuable way to enter the land of much cleaner sanding, whether you're in a bodyshop or a woodworking shop. Don't breathe in all that junk anymore. It's not worth it. The Aircat 6700-6 also comes with a 2-year warranty and you can find them on the www.aircat.com website or on Amazon.

    @@Shoptoolreviews hello sir i need this sander

    Where you mentioned vibrations I can tell you if you were to change pads you can also cause unwanted vibrations so buy the one with the correct pad form the start or buy a factory brand pad if you do need to change it. I found this out by swapping the pad on my ingersol rand to a work supplied pad to a hook and loop and it eventually vibrated to paddle pin out and parts flew and it was dead at that point. So at that point I dismissed it as a bad tool not realizing the pad was at fault. I then bought a dynabrade black supreme and swapped to the same work provided pad. Again the same vibration like it was out of balance and again it would vibrate the cross pin out. So I decided to order another dynabrade cross pin and ordered a dynabrade brand hook and loop pad and the problem stopped. That DA runs so much smoother with the factory pad. I don’t know exactly what the issue is but there is definitely something different with the weight or the balancing on the pads. I do know my work provided pad is a little thicker so idk if that’s just making it heavier possibly but I’d definitely recommend buying the correct setup to start with and save yourself a lot of headache and avoid a vibrating sander.

  • @Shoptoolreviews

    @Shoptoolreviews

    Probably not. To remove the gelcoat on a boat, you will need something really beefy. At the same time, why are you removing it? If you wanted to use this sander for just sanding the finish with 220 or 400 to repaint, this is a great sander for that. Thanks for watching.

    Been dicking about with wet-sanding as opposed to D.A dry sanding the last while. Half the world uses D.A sanders - the other half use wet sanding by hand. I tried wet-sanding as I work daily with an African dude who is used to "African ways" as opposed to our "spoilt" ways. Surprisingly. I now know why the other half of the world wet-sands by hand. Because it is about three times as good & 10 times as economical as dry power sanding. On everything. Even stuff you'd never dream of wet sanding usually.
