I really like it. It’s my favorite out of all of the ones I have tried from RPM. It’s louder than stock not going to sugar coat it but I have no problem talking to my wife without a helmet on when we are trail riding, yeah I have to talk louder but I did before. To me it’s worth it for how much I like the sound of this one. I was worried about how it would look after having it covered mud and having the mud cooked on. I just washed it real good a few weekends ago and it came really clean. I’ll have to do a follow up video of it just to show but after a little scrubbing it came clean!

When I bought my Pro XP back in September I got home and was looking at it and the three nuts holding the muffler to the manifold were not even tight and the gasket was blown. I called the dealer up and they sent me a new gasket, I used vice grips to pull those springs back. But they were kind of a pain. I'm going to leave the engine stock, I had the Shock Therapy RIS with springs done to it before I even took it trail riding, rides super plush. Just installed the front camera and side mirrors today and put on a Tusk spare tire carrier a couple of days ago. Bought a new spare tire off of ebay last night for $335, my local dealer wanted $510 for it.

Damn that’s kinda shitty, some dealerships really don’t care and that might have been like that from the factory. I have heard several people having bolts loose when they pick up their machines. Glad you got it all back together how it should be though!

get some prefilter material. cut it out and zip tie it on the back of that grill cover. it will keep mud out and alot of that grass.

Good call, I never really thought of that. Would it still get enough air flow to the radiator though if mud started to build up?

@@SchmidtysOffroad ive never had a problem with mud caked in there. but i would would say its easier to stop take the cover off smack the mud out then try to clean a radiator on the trail. Ive done this to all my sxs over the years.

What cage do you have on your RZR Pro XP?

It’s a Midwest Dirt Fiend cage! It’s their rowdy cage kit, they have three different versions of the pro xp cage. If you ever think about ordering one you can use my code “Schmidtys Offroad” and you’ll get 5% off. They also have some tree kickers and I have heard they are looking at making some more stuff in the future. I have been very happy with it all.

It’s been holding up really well. I’m still running it right now and I plan to use it all of 2024 for racing! Going to try my hand in short course racing so it’ll be a good test for the exhaust

Just from listening to the videos the desert series sounds better Did you think it was too loud The price sure looks a lot better But I don’t want to annoy the guy behind me on the trail

I really liked my desert series but it was pretty loud. For cursing around it wasn’t bad but I went to the dunes with it and without a helmet on it hurt your ears at full throttle. My dad said it’s not bad when he followed me when I had it though. He has a KRX and he said he couldn’t really hear me unless I really got on it but the KRX is a pretty loud machine inside as it is.

Certain exhausts for sure are too loud. This one’s obviously louder than stock but not near as loud as others I have tried. I really like the stock exhaust for cruising around. I think in stock form the Pro XP sounds pretty darn good.
