@@eadad4371 Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her. She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.

By having an emergency fund, you also protect emotional and mental health as these can prevent depression to lack of money, further escalation of financial problems (bankruptcy), or even resorting to debts, receiving bad or hurtful words from people around you and have more freedom to make better decisions in life as you have ready source of funds to do such thing.

My initial reaction sa intro mo, wala kayong emergency bag? Seeing may kaya ka naman at afford mong magprepare. Pero I guess you just learn when u experience it. After Ondoy (since I live in Marikina), I get anxious every time there is a typhoon. So when I started working in 2011 ang una kong investment is an emergency kit. YES, emergency fund is essential pero kahit may pera ka kung wala talagang mabibili useless ang pera mo. Soooo for calamities for me, dapat nagbubuild ka rin ng emergency kit.

About the MP2, note that "Pre-termination of MP2 membership for reason other than those allowed, the member shall only be entitled to the following: 50% of the total dividend earned as penalty for the pre-termination of MP2 savings of members who opted for compounded dividends." Let me know if I got it wrong, pero yeah totally safe to have it in MP2. Anti-budol pa kasi di ka matempt gumastos.

Additional info, as starter you can save emergency fund equivalent to your expenses but I recommend that it should be equal to your income. 6 times of your income. Just in case of emergency it will cover your monthly expenses and at the same time other expenses that will help you to get out from that situation. A great example is unemployment aside from your monthly expenses you still have money to apply for a job transpo medical and you have to consider 1 month interval to receive your 1st salary.

Just think of how much you need to cash out if e.g. your wife needs a caesarian operation, your house burned down, etc. That IMO would be a good way to work your way around an EF.

Agree with this. Also, aside from free annual fee for life, CITI Rewards Card has bigger increase in credit limit compared to others (in my experience). Just be careful not to use it in non-emergency purchases. Haha!

Emergency funds that would last 9-12 months is ideal. Life is unpredictable. Disasters and health problems do happen. Most people do not save.

Is it still safe to put money in GSave ngayong maraming nawawalan bigla sa GCash app? Wanted to know your opinion about this kasi that's where I save my emergency fund :((

Ive lost money in gcash app more than 3k. Better if u opt for other ewallet platform or other means. Gcash app cannot be trusted anymore.

Conveniently forgets to mention that the price of food and water goes up exponentially when there is unique demand. Also interest stops when natural disasters happen. The bank will adjust for new inflation. This person has not used any sources who have actually experienced an emergency. Credit cards during an emergency lol

Emergencies aren't only natural disaster. In medical emergencies for example, credit cards can be of help especially if banks are closed. And if you listened to the video properly, I mentioned that I made this right after we experienced a typhoon that left us without water and electricity for 3 weeks, thus the importance of CASH as well as your first line of defense for calamities.

thank you so much, ate Charm! i’m already 23 and has been working for 3 years and yet i don’t have any savings, walang emergency fund. i’m a breadwinner and minsan sakto lang talaga yung salary sa gastusin. because of your helpful videos, namulat ako sa value ng pagiipon kahit pa hindi ganon kalaki yung sahod. thank you and hopefully makapagsimula na ko kahit papano 😅

It's common sense to have CASH on hand/ saved..hindi naman sa lahat ng oras may available ATM, especially in situations like that..🤦🤦🤦.
