I'm not into the shame game, but I have to say, NYC's metro stations are dirty, run down and disgusting. Can't believe they let them get that bad. I can only hope they have started to improve them and fix all the problems. The mayor and city planning need to go to Moscow and see how wonderful their metros are.

Advertising on escalators had appeared in mid 90's and was removed in late 2000's for esthetic reason. Actually, the word "вокзал" has its roots in Vauxhall (as the first train station with this type if architecture and layout).

Hi. When you talk about metro stations, briefly talk about the history of these stations. Tell us about the metro stations that are named after Russian writers and poets. The metro station is Pushkinskaya. Mayakovskaya, Lermontovskaya, Dostoevskaya, Chekhovskaya, Turgenevskaya, Fonvizinskaya. You can also tell us about metro stations that are named after cities. Rizhskaya, Minskaya, Alma-Ata, Kievskaya (2 stations), Rimskaya, Bratislava, Varshavskaya, Prague ... Or take a tour of the metro stations that were built at different times: in the 1930s, during the war of 1941-1945, in the 1950-1960s, in the 1970-1980s and in the 2000s

My favorite is mayakovskaya as well!) Everlasting elegance. You seem a very nice guy😊 and I do love your Scottish accent. Have you been to St.Petersburg? It might remind you of Edinburgh✌️🤝

@@dennisthemenace9133 Hey, I actually work in software. So I am looking to provide restaurants in Russia with an innovative solution for users to order at the table and see pictures of the food as they order, pass this to the kitchen and it's delivered. They can even order to take out. Another solution I am looking to implement in Russia is a novel travel platform, since Russians have more cash but still not enough to afford the most luxurious places by themselves, it makes sense to share an Airbnb for example, but of course you need to find folks travelling to the same spot as you, be able to share easily accommodation suggestions, book it together by sharing contributions, and confirm this without a hitch, so a novel solution and again, very complex. I've already developed the solution for the most part, but just looking to deploy it with partners in Russia because the country is ripe for such opportunities, it's growing so dizzyingly fast yet there is still so much to do, it's just perfect for this!
