Fun fact: Hippos don't actually swim. They run under water. So when you see a hippo aggressively following a boat, they're actually charging after it in a mad territorial rage-fueled gallop.

My favorite example of this is the one-ton man-eater Gustave, a nile crocodile who resorted to attacking people, is thought to have killed at least 200 people, and has evaded capture for years simply because he's so huge that few cages are large enough to close properly on him, and the ones that are are too flimsy to withstand him. He hasn't been seen since 2019, where a report of his death was filed with no body and no witnesses to substantiate it, meaning he could still be out there. You would think he's a myth if he hadn't been explicitly photographed and recorded from a safe distance.

I just think about the joint pain it must have, and how it probably struggles to do the most basic things, including walk. That's very sad. 🙁 This dog needs vet care, proper diet and exercise ASAP. Take it from its owners if necessary and put it in the care of someone qualified.

4:05 -- My dad traded a couple 40's of rye to someone in the North West Territories for a polar bear pelt back in the early 90's just because it was so awesome, and it wasn't even from a BIG polar bear. We laid it out on the floor of the living room and it stretched from one end to the other. The fur felt really nice, too. He sold it early 2000's because it was just too damned big to do anything with and he didn't want to cut it up.

My great grand aunt used to make such massive schnitzels. She had the odd idea that 8 of these were not enough for two older teenage guys so she had a few more in the fridge just in case. I'll never forget that. Fortunately, some cousins came by and were promptly made to join. My great grandma didn't eat meat at all and her sister only about maybe as much as hangs off of that plate. Both were tiny women which made the sizes of these beasts of schnitzels even more hilarious. She also baked apple pie to be eaten about 4h later. 😂 She was a wonderful woman. ❤️

@@iclynnx Most of the time, yes, large vehicles are unnecessary. People want something big because it makes them feel better or safer, even when their desire to drive a tank on the same road as a humble Corolla means everyone else is less safe because of their desire for an oversized luxury brick on wheels. SUVs also typically have poor fuel economy compared to other lighter vehicles, but since they're often classed as light trucks, they don't have to meet the same requirements as smaller passenger cars... Even though they end up being used as a passenger car and not what you'd associate with a truck meant for work. Lastly, a bigger vehicle is worse for an EV, since the more mass you have to move, the bigger your battery needs to be... And that battery is heavy. Is it evident that I have a grudge on trucks and SUVs? I hope so, because *_oh boy do I ever._*

One day my father finds a Ñame vine and starts digging it out. After an hour he has to stop because of his back. He calls 2 of my uncles and asks them to come over the next day to help dig out the Ñame. The 4 of us start around 10am, we take turns every few minutes, it's sandy soil so it's fairly easy work digging. It was a little after 2pm by the time we called it quits. We dug out a massive 70 pound chunk of root, when normally they're around 10. We guessed we only got 1/2 of it.
