underrated song, underrated band

Josh & the boys are round about my age. I’ve grown up with ymas as the soundtrack to my adult life. Every single album has summed up what I’ve been going through at the time of their release. It just shows you that everyone goes through good and shit times, I’m just glad I found ym@s to put my feelings into words/music along that journey. So good having you guys back 👏🏻

I think this music video perfectly matches the feel of this song.

Can we talk about how great the video is... the beginning is a representation of 'letting go'. The guy and girl hanging on to each other by a rope with their heads covered (no communication). And the guy breaks apart and takes off running free (letting go of her) as the girl is still trapped in her head. Which of course relates to the song...

I just discovered this band and I must say you guys are doing an amazing job. And the lead singer is very very handsome.

I love that You Me At Six have gone back to their heavier sound 😀 EDIT: by this I mean more like their original style and not like what we heard in VI. In no way do I mean it’s head banging music that rivals the likes of Slipknot, Korn and Megadeath 🙄

Sinners Never Sleep was the last album I loved, Cavalier Youth was great but mostly forgettable for me, Night People and VI completely passed me by (except for Brand New from Night People, ironically that's my favourite song that's not on Sinners)

Their first 3 albums are engraved onto my teenage years, I still love them but since Cavalier Youth it's gone downhill for me personally. Songs like Crash and Liquid Confidence have a raw emotion to them, they're probably doing better commercially now so fair enough but I don't think their newer stuff really adds much.
