You learn English of the same way you learn your native language, listening repeating a lot (watching movies, series cartoons from USA or another English speak country) and then you learn how to write or spelling that words, grow vocabulary, phrases, etc then study grammar, structure of language, read books, articles, etc. If is possible travel or live in the country of your target language. Regards from Brazil.

You’re spot on. It’s like you’re a foreign language speaker that learned English because you have a lot empathy and understand well our struggles.

Hi Gabby, this is your thankful viewer. Everything that you talk about is absolutely true. Since I have been moved to the USA, I faced what calls a language barrier. I could not imagine how it is difficult to get through it and for the first time, I was frustrated. After a while, I found out that I am not alone in this journey and there are many ways to learn the language. I believe that all your tips have helped me organize myself and achieved my goal of becoming fluent in English step by step. Thanks a lot.

Most of the time I learn alone, but I believe that doing it in group might be an effective way because it helps developing public speaking at the same time.

When I hear a video, or two people talking, or go abroad and they speak to me in English, I understand 90%-95% of the speech. My problem is that I can't answer accurately, and to learn English better I only have thirty minutes four days a week. But I continue to follow you on KZread, and I tell you that you are helping me at least in understanding the language. Thank you

Watching, listening and at the same time reading the subtitles on Your videos I am understanding why I can't understand the english pronunciation. On this video You mention: IMAGING A CONVERSATION IN YOUR MIND BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE, I want ask You, this phrase means or is the same that the people call THINK IN ENGLISH? Thank You. Good Night.

Hi teacher Gaby, I'm still learning English but I'm stuck, I can't understand people who speak fast or use "slang", my fluency isn't very well but i'm traying to learn with Duolingo and I think it's an excellent option for me, they have a lot of vocabulary and it helps.
