I have never watched it, but it must be good.
I have always loved this version and the movie. A friend of a friend managed a cinema in Portland Oregon. I got the VHS tape, the stills, the poster and the vinyl LP from the guy's band. One day in the train station in Gifu Japan, my daughter saw the VHS in a bargain bin and we snatched it up. Also have an autographed 8x10 black and white photo of Carrie

pretty tough song to sing since the greatest sung it so brilliantly. but carrie’s heart makes this version so touching .

Carrie is great in this long lost classic film TOKYO POP (1988) which did have a limited release at independent movie theaters in 1988 and was later released on VHS and Laserdisc. Today it is sad that nobody knows or cares about Carrie Hamilton and the fact that this 1988 independent movie is not on DVD and Blu-Ray, I wish this movie was on DVD and Blu-Ray by the CRITERION COLLECTION.

I met Carrie when I first came to LA and not only saw her in a terrific performance in Hollywood but also met her hilarious, gracious mum, who I shared some laughs with - Carol had brought ear plugs to dampen the sound of the amps in the club. Rock on, Carrie! And, Carol! ;)
