My favorite thing about the Emet-Selch gun clip is that it feels entirely in character for him.

At the first Fanfest. Souken put a cardboard box under his piano and kicked it like a drum in time, just to prove he could do it.

The part where they re enacted it with "i got an mmo for you" was funny and should be made into its own meme

The best part of that emet video is 24:51 where tha gesture of him tapping it against his Garlean eye is totally incharacter for Garleans. Their third eye improves their spatial recognition and insight, which is useful for piloting mechs (especially flying ones) and aiming weapons as well as pulling off their immense feats of magitech engineering. "tapping" a malfunctioning weapon against it for luck totally fits.

Revenge Twofold was originally going to be used in the Niddhogg fight but got scrapped for not being epic enough, so they used it as the dungeon boss theme for 3.4 and 3.5 dungeons. That is why it has the lyrics about Niddhogg. It is also used in the hard mode versions of Fractal Continuum and Saint Moscianne's Arboretum which were in Stormblood.

There's two dungeons that i associate this with the most. The first one is Baelsar's Wall, where the title of the track really comes into its own for me. "Revenge Twofold", it's Ilberd's revenge on the world, but it's also our revenge on him, fully capstoning where Heavensward began and where it ended. The second, of course, is fighting Diabolos at the summit of Dun Scaith. That chorus calling upon the Mighty Fury as you create a frikin Kamehameha against him is probably the best 24 man moment this game has ever produced.

I was the one who suggested Kermit-Selch and I’m so happy that it made it to the thumbnail.

Soken is such a fucking rock star. I hope he lives forever.

The intent the Warriors of Darkness had killing Primals was literally just to terrorize the beast tribes and continually escalate the situation. It goes hand in hand with the Ascians teaching the tribes the altered summoning rites to increase the power of summoned primals etc. It was all just to further the chaos in the source and work towards a calamity.

Yeah, they were just making the beast tribes more and more scared, thus more and more open to more extreme summonings for stronger and stronger primals (hence why we have extreme and up primal trials).

Kyle out here tryna understand memes lol. Don't do it man you'll just drive your self crazy! (although, if it helps, the only thing I can think of is a display of how the voice actor/delivery of a message can _entirely_ shift the vibe)

Screw that healer guy! RDM mains know they end up rezzing far more often than healers in a lot of content. I end up getting mad at the healers for making me rez them after I ran out of mp with all the rezzing they didn't bother doing cause their spamming their 1 little nuke is far more important, but it's ok I can rez between nukes and sometimes people notice and com which is nice.

Healers don't rez because it takes 10 goddamn seconds of doing nothing if you're caught on Swiftcast CD because people keep dying to stupid things. It's not about the mana.

Not really, the music can play in the menu and Im sure they’ve seen the relic armor in town-they even recognized it.
