💎 I had a dental visit this week and you'll never believe what happened!! It was a bit of a roller coaster week, with some definite ups and downs, but hopefully everything is starting to come together!! I've finished my projects for #dpforpets2024, and hopefully you are done or close to, as the event ends tonight! I NEVER win anything like this and was literally saying to my hubby there are so many people that participated I've never even seen my name go through the wheel and then it stopped. Thank you much! I had so much, this was my very first Diamond Painting event and I loved it! I can't wait for DPforVets!

Great WIP n Chat Daphne! TY for info about identity theft/credit rpts etc as I have experienced something similar recently & wasn't sure what to do next. I always learn stuff from you, thank you! Great chat ...hope you feel better soon...I've been told that insurance companies use your credit score to quote your insurance... which I have always disagreed with ..

Hey Daphne, in addition to Gary for DPforPets, I also finished 8 budget WIPs that had been on the back burner forever, thanks to moving on to better and bigger canvases (premium companies). I’m working on a 9th one I had hoped to finish, so July it will be. It’s nice to “clear the decks”.

I was paying $160 mo full coverage for a vehicle that I had driven for 3 yrs. But was still paying on the vehicle. I wasn't driving it because I am along haul trucker. The state of Nevada presently didn't have a storage rate. But since my trucking company is now in Utah, they have storage rates.
Jasper Sea has been on my wish list ever since I saw you working on it here. I was also on a de-stash group on facebook & was contacted yesterday from someone that had it. I’m so excited that it will be headed my way tomorrow. I’m also nervous that I may have bit off more than I can chew bc I don’t do large kits. Wish me luck!

@@catgranny Good luck!! I’m enjoying it, and there is a nice mix of confetti and multiplacing. It’s going faster than I thought it would.
Having had my identity stolen three years ago, I am so happy you were attentive to this situation. I fell for what I thought was a legitimate request from Apple, and it was a nightmare. Had to change all bank accounts, all credit cards, and a million other little things I wasn't even aware we still had. It took three months to get it all straightened out, and we were lucky it wasn't longer. So, yay, you dodged a bullet. Glad you're feeling better.

Where I live in Canada (SK), car insurance is included in plating your car. But, you have the option to pay for better insurance which I think for a decent plan is $30 per month or $300-400 per year. I have never done it though. If you get into an accident with no extra insurance, the deductible is $700 but with extra insurance you can make it a $200 deductible. Also where I am, my phone bill company check my credit score it doesn’t affect it a lot but I think that’s the only one that is silly. Every time I have had mine checked for a hard inquiry, the company needs to have my permission though.

Newish diamond painter here and I can not for the life of me get the multi placer to work for me. Cant get them straight, they are never spaced correctlymm. Any advice you can give?

There’s a definite learning curve. Start small - with a 3 or 4 placer and work with it until you get comfortable. Then move up to larger ones. Or just single place everything - there’s no rule that says you have to multiplace!!
