the sad thing is i'm too young to go out by myself, so my mom has to take me places.. and she hates going out + she works all day so my whole summer is just sitting in bed everyday all day doing nothing. i also have 0 friends, i'm homeschooled, and dont have a pool. but summer is my fav season :/

Don't worry you'll be fine, make urself a drink and go outside ur house and chill, u can go on a walk, watch movies, prepare some summer outfits, online shopping, and also u can change ur room decor! I totally feel you i was in a really similar situation in a few years ago and ofc its not the same experience as going around and doing things by yourself but what I did was trying to ramanticise my everyday life even at home like make your room a really cozy place where youre happy to be, start yournaling and reading its so fun you can go to your garden or a park nearby or find a creative hobby that you can enjoy no matter where you are like painting, crocheating, beading, cooking, baking. And idk if youre allowed to but if you are just go on walks or running around your neighbourhood i swear its so fun and you can also could start exploring your local area like small shops, fields, parks but even if you cant go out by yourself at all theres a lot of fun home activities you can do. hope it helps have a great day xx

Depending how old u r, just walk. Let ur mom know before hand, tell her an estimate of how long you think the walk will be And just walk around the block. And if she's worried about stranger danger, Depending on ur locations laws about it have her get u some pepper spray. If not pepper spray than an alarm button. Just work with her and ask

it's also hard living in arizona and trying to be aesthetic when it's like 100 degrees out and you don't have a pool 😭

I just kind of broke it down: 1. Find your inspiration (books, movies, tv shows, pinterest, etc.) 2. Break your inspiration down (Tip: make a pinterest board) 3. Think about who you want to be this summer (Appreciating all the little things, the music you listen to, running, etc.) 4. Turn the little things into big things (Tip: Think about how they would do it in a movie) 5. Make playlists (It'll make you feel like the main character!) 6. Watch the sunrise/sunset 7. Eat without your phone and turn it into an experience (Ex: a picnic w/ your friends) 8. Act like your inspiration would (What would [put in character's name] do?) 9. Dress like your inspiration would (Tip: Just use the clothing you have and wear it in different ways) 10. Read more (It forces you to get out instead of being on your phone) 11. Learn to enjoy spending time by yourself (Tip: find hobbies that you enjoy that you can do alone)

Here’s a list of things for you people who can’t drive or can’t get someone to get to drive you place: Learn to paint Learn to play an instrument Learn a language Exercise Learn how to do a handstand/other tricks like that Have a day or a couple days where you do literally whatever you want. See someone doing something interesting? Go for it. Just want to do cartwheels on the grass? Do it. Your summer is yours. Take pictures. Doesn’t matter what, just anything you think is cool. Go for a bike ride/walk. (Bonus points if you find a park or something to do) Do a little fashion show from the stuff in your closet. Play with your pet. (If you have one) Bake. I’m planning on doing sourdough, myself. (If you can find someone to drive you, but not be with you the whole time:) Volunteering. You can be dropped off for a couple hours, you’ll hopefully have fun, and if you’re at that age, it’ll look good on your college application. Me personally, I’m volunteering at a horse stables I ride at. Have a great summer, everyone!

I have been a little worried about summer this year because last summer has been pretty boring for me since most of my friends weren't home the whole time, while I have only been abroad for 5 days. However, I had that one friend I hung out with multiple times which is why the summer wasn't that bad after all. By now she has got a boyfriend and always spends time with him so I'm pretty sure we won't hang out that often this summer which is the reason why I'm scared and worried because I really really want this summer to be fun since It's my only summer as a 16-year-old girl yk? However, I'm sorry for telling you all this stuff about my life but I just felt like sharing it😂 What I actually wanted to say is that I'm very grateful for this video, because it has changed my mindset towards the next summer sooo much and got me really excited for it.
