Despite playing the game for 4 years, I actually still do a lot of the “less experienced” things from this video. I actually prefer walking and riding horses to windbombs, and I like having a mixed inventory of weapons, it helps keep the game interesting after all this time

i actually prefer walking over any other form of travel (other than shrine and tower teleporting), its honestly so peaceful and really lets you get a feel of the patterns of enemy camps and such. And not to mention, it honestly lets you really feel like you're in the world. playing this game for about 5-6 years, and im STILL finding cool stuff that i never found even after hours of playing.

Lynels were always pretty easy imo, you can basically stunlock them with arrows and flurry rushes are very easy to get from Lynels since their moves are predictable :p i just spam urbosoa's furry, arrows and flurry rushes. However if they pull their bow out its ggs

I have gotten most of the way through the plateau Lynel a few times before leaving it, then I die... But I was like 80% of the way through a few times. Lynels are easy if you have the durability to just flurry rush them, but having to parry, headshot and mount them just to do damage without damaging your weapon... This is hell.@

Yeah, I don't know how to do any of the glitches. On the other hand, my brother my brother knows nearly all of them 😭 He wind bombs and flies across the map after bouncing on enemies heads. However, I am MUCH better at combat, completing quests, collecting things, etc. I know he's killed lynels, but not to the point of genocide, y'know? The guardians though, he makes those go flipping and flying 😭😭
@bastian_5975

Windbombs are fun though. You just go boom and then you zoom. Also you never have to touch the motion control shrines because you can just usually zoom over them. Horses are great for exploring, and I agree that something is lost if you exclusively BIL through the world, but seriously I would recommend learning it just because it's another tool in your belt (and it's really fun if you can get good at them)
I have a 108 damage lynel crusher that I duplicated 10 times, so I'm KINDA good at combat

Link… Hurry up… Hurry up, Link… Hurry…
Movement for me is riding a horse for exploring, and windbombing to get from point A to B quickly. Lynels are really easy to kill because of bullet time and flurry rush, not to mention the champion's abilities, you really just got to understand the fighting controls. Getting rupees isn't hard either. If your not constantly buying things, you can get a lot of money from selling monster parts.
I try to move and play like someone actually surviving in the wild which makes it pretty fun for me
The master cycle is a great way to go about when you get to the bored stage XD

Shield surfing is still my preferred way to travel. I don't care if it's sigmificantly slower, I just enjoy it more. Though I am in a toss-up whether or not I prefer the radiant shield over the ancient shield. The radiant is certainly faster and easier to handle, but there's something that *feels* different, in a good way, about the ancient shield...
Is it good or bad I now know I haven't played too much? 😂 Everything that is the "not too much" is basically exactly me- of course I kind of know I haven't played too much since I haven't played in months 😅
I’d say I’m a mix of both, lol. I keep my inventory varied and always use the most practical clothing for the situation I’m in instead of a custom distinct look like many pros, BUT I also like to travel with wind bombs and can defeat lynels without much trouble
When your most prized possession isn’t your Hestu’s Gift, but the ice cream cone in your food inventory.
I play this game alot, and to this day i still cant do windbombs🙃
Glad to know that most people don't like using shrines to teleport haha, just shows how beautiful this game is
I've put in 300+ hours on normal and some more on master mode. Can't wind bomb, haven't really tried. I tend to still go on foot or sometimes use the master cycle. Still enjoy exploring, though the heros path covers much of my map now

Can confirm, I have taken down so many Lynels I started to write a guide on it, though mainly because someone asked for help in one of Croton's streams
Me who uses teleportation as main travel: *laughs violently*
I know I've played too much botw when my first thought upon seeing a steep incline in the road is "oh sweet, i can probably paraglide from here" or when I'm watching a show and there's a fight scene in a snowy landscape and i think "why aren't you shield surfing away"
I thought it was gonna be something like seeing a rock and wanting to check for a Korok. I start hallucinating Koroks when I've played too much.
My main method of travel is bless, but I usually do some windbombs
You know you’ve played too much botw when, watching a video on the game, your hand reflexively tries to parry a guardian beam on the switch you aren’t holding
This feels like a callout, don’t talk to me or my massive collection of five shot savage lynel bows ever again
"You've probably spent a lot of time exploring." Me who traveled to every village on foot while staying on paths (with exceptions like Gerudo and Korok) while only wearing the mijoras mask and luminous bone costume: Well maybe just a little bit.
"you haven't played a lot" (looks at my 300 hours of playtime and sweats)
True sign of playing too much BotW: searching random botw content on KZread and finding this video
Ive only played botw for 2 months already but i can tell you that literally everywhere i go, i wind bomb myself. its oddly satisfying to see Link blast off like a Team Rocket member when travelling
I dont even know what a normal post Gannon account looks like I got so carried away with all these game breaking glitches
Thanks for the new tips on how to travel 👍
The Lynels with the club still whoops my ass 😂😭
My main method of traveling is that shield/bokob time stop jump thing, once i got the hang of it, of course xD
him: mentions a bit Me: makes my own "you know you played to much when you have all the armour in the game maxed lvl"
Man I just found you today this video looks great 👍 props to you
0:10 Man, combat in botw has gotten so optimised now! It's hard to keep up (also great video)
To give reference to just how much there is to do on BOTW, only the top 30 recorded 100% speed runs go under 40 hours.
Ah, yes. You know you've been playing BotW for too long when you can flurry rush a Lynel every time it attacks. Not me. Definitely not me. Nope
Ah yes, my inventory is just purley tree branches, perfect for those lynels 🤠🛒
This is so true. I have played a lot but as much as some people do and I know I do. Lol.

As soon as I realized I could just spam 3x bomb arrows at their faces, the entire Lynel race became extinct.
i was so into starwars for past 2 weeks that i thought this was a starwars video by seeing link's kenobi face
I always use the master cycle and look for what are essentially skate parks when I get around and pin them for when I get bored
I like having a mixed inventory cause it gives me options on how to do combat which is fun and I don’t do the bomb travel thing just cause I like motorcycling around
My main method of travel is just traveling to shrines because wind bombing is so hard for me and I can never get it.
When you try to finish the compendium and get upset that low level weapons don’t spawn anymore
I think I played this game a little too long… Great Video!
I never knew I needed to see Link with a beard
Ive played a lot of BOTW already but I still love doing random hard challenges for fun. I still find myself wandering and just walking around and straying off path though because no matter how many times ive seen that spot or 100% the game its still very pretty. The game is beautiful.
i never realized behind the great platue there was chests behind the icy water fall until after i was exploring having done all the shrines
Another great video! Congrats on 11k!
First thing I did was installing dlc, playing hard mode and beating the lynel first try in the forgotten plateau when I got outside. I basically watched videos before getting the game.
i've been playing botw for forever but i still continue to find ways to entertain myself by playing out little stories and making up challenges.
Dude do a shield surfing video coming out of that wicked fast glide U can get some sick lines I bet
0:44 i’ve been playing for over 3 years thats my inventory and i’m proud
i love you'r vids! you'r doing a great work, good luck with the next! +1 sub
kind of an odd end but nice video. and really relatable! :)
Goddamn, I must play WAY too much considering I literally just parry every lynel attack.
I mostly drive around in my Mastercycle and cut the grass around my house with my Master sword
...I feel personally attacker... 🤣
For sure. Didn’t even get hit once by a golden Lynel the other day. Of course, that’s a sword one. The spear ones are still difficult… But I can kill any not dying.
you know you've played too much when the little number at the bottom left of the map says 100/100
im glad lynels arent that much of a pushover even when your stacked and super strong, you still have to memorise there move pattern
I ve come to a point where i just wander around walking cause I don't have anything to do anymore
Every time I find a Kolog its an historic moment
I mean...I love driving master cycle and driving around like a badass, and yes Lynels back then they look scary and tough, but after figuring out their combat tactics [ different situational], I was not afraid of them and they were like a free item drops whenever they respawn later on.
I mean, I cooked over a dozen veggie rice balls out of boredom
one of my favorite things to do is ride around on my horse and take pictures. This game is so pretty!
I *totally* have a varied inventory. *It just consists of mostly (90%) Lynel weapons.*
Sometimes when I’m bored I try to take on two lynels at once
I came here to see if that monster heart was real disappointed it wasn't lol but the video was good
I have 100k rupees with a full inventory of attack up royal guards claymores and savage lynel weapons, 999 ancient and bomb arrows and Whenever I log on I go around killing lynels for fun, not pick up their weapon and wait for another blood moon this is a definitive way to tell if you have played too much like hunting lynels for fun when bored or have a full stock of 5x lynel bows. ( This is what happened when you have more than 500 hours on this game )
you know you played to much when the master sword is your lowest damaging weapon
This video was actually very accurate. Btw, congrats on 11K!
