Hey guys, PointCrow here, do you ever get collectors anxiety in huge open world RPGs? Where there's so much to do, so much to grab, but you're just wondering if that one item that you pick up is the only item of it's kind. Well look no further, the least qualified person for the job is ready to tell you all of the items that you should hold onto in Breath of The Wild because you won't be able to get them again once you use them up. Yeah I completed everything, but only found about 300 of the korok seeds. There being 900 of them makes it seem like we don't neeeed to find them all.

Another thing that got me exploring the map more was going on roadtrips, I know it might sound silly but it was pretty fun, I went from gerudo to eldin/akkala and faron/necluda to Hebra. I forced myself to fight all bigger enemies and explore all cool locations.

That's pretty much the standard. After 100% any GTA game, you are obligated to drive around the world aimlessly and abide by traffic/road laws

I was under the impression the game wasn't playable after beating Ganon. that it just puts Link back in at whatever previous save point made before defeating Ganon. I'd love it if there was an after game!

@Ayustria Salma I didn't do the korok seeds because well, I'm not working for poop (I think that was to teach us a lesson, rather than a gag). I did, however, collect enough to max out my weapon, shield and bow slots. I filled it with so many savage Lynel crushers. When I do pick the game up now, I do my best to glitch it or beat it unintended ways.

@Ayustria Salma Same for me. I've replayed the game from the start 5 times. Only bothered to do all 120 shrines in 3 my saved games, full DLC twice.

For anyone who wants to finish all side quests, do weapon connoisseur when you start, because some of the weapons you can’t get later on

I only started it after getting about 8 hearts, and I cannot find a single traveler's sword anywhere. It also doesn't help I now have 14 hearts. I'm trying not to get anymore cause it makes the weak weapons hard to find.

Find the "hidden" dragons he says. You mean those massively giant flying dragons that you almost can't miss seeing at some point unless your a brainless zombie or someone who does zero exploration?

i like to think Breath of the Wild is has never ending content. you can do a lot after beating main campaign

Some thing else you can do if you are a player that likes combat. Kilton can only found at night near the villages. He has a quest in which you have to go find and kill all the Hinox, Talus, and Moldugas. if you go to him after you have done so he will give you a metal of honer.

First time I tried Eventide, I only had like five hearts, no campion abilities, and a blood moon happened in the middle of it. I didn't go back for a few months after that 😅

Good spot for Farosh is in the Jungle area where he pops up above the waterfall at 5:00am

A tip for getting the master sword earlier is to trade your stamina for hearts. In Hateno village there is a statue near the flag pull. After you get the sword you can get the stamina back

Quick tip if you want to make the island easier just leave some wepons and droppable food on the boat before stepping in the island then you can still have good loot

A good thing that I bet most people if not all of them didn't do is go to Kilton and get the 3 medals of honor.

you cannot "find" Epona when you need an Amiibo for it. Its a DLC

I always liked picking on the moblins. The way they rag doll is hilarious.

I just finally got this game a couple months ago. After getting it my switch broke and I had to send it in to get it fixed. . I lost everything. So I replayed and finally got 100% completion. Yerp. Every korok. Every shrine and mini boss. All dlc and side quests. Now I'm doing the same on Master mode. When I get 100% on that I'm definitely going to be sad.... I can't wait for the new one. I'm also trying to learn all the weird glitches and fighting techniques lol.

eventide island is easier than the trial of the sword, island was quite easy for me

I obviously got all 120 shrines before even going near ganon. I also wanted to max out my melee weapon bag and was surprised that it only took like 250 seeds (the other 2 bags I didn't max out). So i went to finish the game and was disappointed by the low difficulty (I still get my ass whooped even by red lynels). Then I got the DLC (the korok mask is fun)

@@borstenpinsel in master mode ganon is almost impossible without urbosa fury unless you are a god at parrying. Also if your struggling with a red lynel.. wait until you fight a gold lynel. All of this is pretty easy to me since I have played through botw 4 times but if your not experienced you should look up some tips. And one more thing, in master mode don’t engage in combat a lot. Because if you do all the enemies with just kick your ass in early game.

@@borstenpinsel and please I beg you to defeat all divine beasts before Gannon you shouldn’t underestimate master mode Gannon or even master mode gold enemies.

Farosh is more easily found at Riola spring at 5:00 AM (you need to pray at one the springs first). Pray at a spring, teleport to Shoda Sah Shrine, use the Zora gear armor to swim up the waterfall. Go through the cave with the electric keese (make yourself shock proof with earrings, rubber armor, or thunder helmet and kill the keese) when you exit the back of the electric keese cave turn left and circle around so you are on top of the cave facing the Riola Spring. Make a fire, sleep till morning, and Farosh will rise from the spring as soon as Link wakes up. You can do this over and over to farm Farosh for dragon horns (use a golden bow for this). There is one more lynel color as well (Gold Lynel) the gold ones only appear in master mode and are a pain to kill even if you know what you are doing but if you do kill one the gold ones usually drop a lot of good stuff.

Hi there! Good video. It's probably already been pointed out, but Lynels aren't actually new! I'm not sure they've ever been quite as elite and ferocious as Breath of the Wild, but they've appeared as enemies in at least five or six games.

They are much easier in earlier games. In a link between worlds you can beat one in a few hits with the fire rod. They are still some of the hardest enemies without op equipment though.

Yes, they were in the original game and among the toughest enemies then too. Mostly found in the mountains, they were red and blue, blue being the toughest

Lol. I did 13 of the 15 things on the list BEFORE finishing the game. 😅

When I first started botw I skipped all dialogues so when I was at the big waterfall near the Zara castle I thought I had to use the ice power I spent a good 30 min getting up

If you've got the DLC a good way to explore "uncharted territory" is using the hero's path function in the map and just check areas where you haven't been. Also (dlc not necessary): try to find all 15 (I think) minigames and beat them (there's horseback riding, glider flight, bowling, boulder golf....)

Lynels are not new. They're in the original NES version

Fun random fact: Breath of the Wild is the first 3D Zelda game to feature Lynels as an enemy.

Just do all the shrines and DLC. Maybe find at least a hundred korok seeds too. Fully upgrading a few armor sets can be an interesting challenge as well, like the Wild set requires you to farm each dragon. If you do those three things, then you will have consequently done everything in this video and these comments.

I’m at the point where I’ve practically 100%”ed” the game, just have the final trials to do and my gamepad ( WiiU copy of the game) has broken to the point where combat has become unnecessarily difficult in some areas, like using a bow can be almost impossible :( I haven’t played in years due to all this and with TotK being revealed with a release date, wondering if there’s ANYTHING I can do exploration wise here before picking that game up

How cool would it be for the completing of the story, to unlock online multiplayer? Friend-invites only, none of that GTA chaos that’d definitely ruin the experience. Up to eight players. Four different colors for link, and protagonists being playable characters. I mean, peace has been established, has it not? Why not be able to chill and enjoy that peace with friends? …and Friend-Quests!

i constantly think how much fun it would be to play legend of zelda like minecraft, some people hunt for food, some people collect cool stuff, some people just make the collective house pretty, i would enjoy it so much

I'm sure most of these suggestions are done before beating the game honestly, unless you do the "Straight to Ganon" challenge.

Don’t forget to complete the compendium! Its about my favorite goal. I’ve only ever completed the materials part though. But you can only get photos of ganonblights at a few moments!!

Red and Blue Lynels were in the very first Zelda game on the NES. They had a magical sword that they could shoot you with on it. They were primitive but still one of the hardest non boss enemies in the game so they're not new. The edition of silver and if you bought the DLC and are playing in master mode you encounter gold Lynels are new. The horse riding mechanics is not new its literally the same as riding Epona on Ocarina of Time. Moblins are also from the first game. The story of Botw is also really similar to the original game as it talks about the calamity and Gannon has already destroyed hyrule. I think they kinda did an updated version of the original game. Lynels in botw are harder than defeating Lynels in the original game but the original NES game is harder than botw. Calamity Gannon is way easier than Gannon on the original you're fighting Gannon in his boar form but he's intelligent, has magic and not just a mindless beast like on botw

If you want to farm Farosh parts then just go to the top of the jungle waterfalls and wait by a fire until morning and he's there

I’m not sure if I’m the only one who’s done this, but before I figured out how to get the best horses I just named my horses “horse” and Ganon’s horse “Big Horse”. Naturally, I released them and tamed the best horses which I then named better names.

i got this game on 100% including hero's path and i still find it funny to play, so they made a good job

I find it best to do the fire on first at Midnight, Electric right after near Hyrule Bridge. Then fly from the tallest mountain to the cliff above the lyonel to get Nidra before 6:30 am. Then u have all day to do other stuff.

In fact, in The legend of zelda: A Link to the past there are lynels at dark world's death mountain

The lightning dragon is a farosh it's close to lurillen village but it's in the jungle and it stays there long so when the weather changes go fast

Ha one time I was in the gerudo mountain area and saw two bokos riding black bears and hunting a friggen rhino First time I’d a boko on a bear in 5 years

You don't have to lose all your weapons on Eventide Island. Glide over if you can. Just land in the shallow sea water and drop all the weapons and shields you want into the shallow water. Walk onto the island and when the trial starts just walk back into the water and pick up the weapons again. Simple.

I highly advise AGAINST this exploit because you only get one chance to play it as it was meant to be played. After you finish Eventide, it will no longer offer the challenge to you. It isn't that hard, just let the game take all your items and complete the challenge normally.

I just can't wait for BotW 2, but I've been playing BotW 1 and Age of Calamity

I'm putting off defeating the last beast Vah rudania because afterwards I want to go directly to defeating Ganon and the game will be basically over. I'm only missions two shrine (incl shrouded shrine), have all the memories, and have completed many sidequests (I only have Xeno blades left, but I might have missed picking up some quests along the way). I just really don't want this game to be over yet so I'm doing everything to slow it down even though I know I should defeat the last beast soon

I remember I used to beat ganon 5 times without the master sword and 5 times with the master sword

Ive literally done most of this and i havent even defeated all divine beasts.

It is 3 DLC but it is just if you bought the expansion pass of it add 3 ex chest for you in the you start.

Didn't know about the master sword till i accidentally got to the lost forest and getting through it by i don't even know how 😂

I think that the Lynels were first introduced in the first Zelda game or something like that

If you do Eventide, don't be me, and do it with a blood moon that night 😅 took way too long to get through it

If only Roxas Kingdom Hearts

I did all of these (minus the koroks) before beating Ganon, then afterwards got the last Koroks I needed to get max Inventory. I have 4 Stars on every armor piece, all key items, all shrines, all side quests, etc. I have 100%'d the game except for 360~ Koroks left (I have 540).

One thing you can do is know when everyone gripes about how they wish that only thing is they wish there was classic temples and whatnot ? Like hello..mc fly?? You can make your own dungeons just unlock all d beasts without playing them find and do all shrines but save the best ones of your option then once you do that make sure you open them so you can speed warp ok.. What I did was that I would say beat couple my saved shrines beat them back to back then go to a s beast beat that then few more shrines then so on then I pull my sword head to lost temple get my green tunic then speed warp to the Castle . Just makes it fun again when your tired of it I'll say

"'Breath of the Wild' introduces its audience to a new, incredibly challenging foe, the Lynel!" No! I think that the Lynel enemy is originally from the original 'Legend of Zelda'! XD

I have completed eventide island in nearly 1 hour. It is not as hard as described. You have to fight strategic. Collect enough food, find treasures, weapons. Use rooks, metal cubes to defeat the monsters. Good luck

Lynels arent really new to the zelda series, they appeared in past games like the original The Legend of Zelda and A Link to the Past, they just got MUCH more fleshed out and boosted in botw

Finding all the 900 Korok seeds is a chalenge that I have no intentions to do at all, I did found 607 though, which was more than enough to unlock all the weapons slots of my inventory. In my last run of BOTW, I decided that I would find (or at least try to) all the enemies and beat them in the Master Mode. I also decided that I would not pickup the same items on the same places, with a few exceptions like Swift Carrot because the amount of this items in the wild is ridiculously low and of course, the dragon parts (fang, horn, scale and claw). Doing this challenge I was able to reach areas that I was never interested to visit in my previous times that I beat this game.

​@@ProfessorXenoblade There are two post game things that I would add in your list. 1. Complete the Compendium with all the pictures. Sure, the reward is lame, you got like a key item or something, it is supposed to be a picture of a young Sheika girl, probably is a picture of Purah, but I don't think anyone can tell for sure. 2. Beat all the mini-bosses. after ou beat the game, you can talk to Kilton and if you beat all the Hinoxes (including the Stall ones), Moldulgas and the Talus, you will receive three medals of Honor. This one is (at least it feels like) a better reward than getting all the Korok seeds and complete the Compendium. I really wish BOTW2 has a better post game content. :/

@@ProfessorXenoblade No worries, but your list is actually accurate based in what I done when I beated BOTW for the 1st time. I beated this game like 8 times by now, and in my very 1st time, I barely visited Hebra region and Gerudo Highlands. In matter of fact, think that I skipped all the shrines of Hebra if I am not mistaken. When I saw my 1st save, I think I completed like 70 or 80 shrines, I didn't upgraded all my armors, and I think I beated like 2 or 3 Lynels. So again, for a casual play through, your list of post game content is pretty useful.

So far it’s all things I did before beating the game

I beat eventide island with just a tree branch, champion abilities, and my slate. (Only cuz I was doing the shrine cuz I beat it all and cuz I can’t save my game crashed but still)
