1100 miles is about from Los Angeles to Seattle. Gps on my phone says a little over 17 hours straight (no stops) in a car. Kyle Larson will do that distance in around 7 hours total if he finishes both races in full.

I believe not every year the Monaco and Indy has been the same weekend. With delayed Indy start a real Monaco-Indy double might be possible. Or they need the lights at Indy. And a fast plane.

@@kg0173 F1 started matching them back in the 90s under Bernie Ecclestone so the top F1 driver wouldn't go over to the Triple Crown, Monaco, Indy and Le Mans, and the Liberty Group is keeping it up. Back in the 50s, Indy was part of the World Driving Championship, and Monaco would be 2 weeks later, but the F1 only ha 6 races a season back then too.

He will do just fine.

If Larson wins this race he is arguably the greatest race car driver all time. He can compete in NASCAR, Sprint Cars, and maybe Indycar.

If the Indy race is postponed until Monday would that mean Kyle wouldn’t race? I’d say that Larson is for sure my favorite driver but i don’t see why he couldn’t race the 600 and then go back Monday morning and race the Indy 500. He’s gonna lose some of my respect if he doesn’t go back to Indy to do the race. I understand the “double” is something that very few drivers have done but if i was Larson I’d worry about finishing both races as to worrying about running 1100 miles in 1 day.

Weather is going to ruin it.

I don't think any could be competitive on the cup side of things

i hate that robby gordon never gets the recognition i know out of the 5 tries he only finished it all twice. but take into mimd he qualify for the indy 500 everytime and lets face it never had the greatest equipment out there on the cup side of things and really came the closest too winning the 500

Not up to the driver. Kyle can drive clean. Can the cars and weather hold up is the question. Good luck Kyle. I'll be watching.

Tony ran 300 + races a yr in dirt , and that is not including cup . He did much better the 2nd attempt and was better prepared than his 1st try. It takes one person to make mistakes for others to see what needs to be done to prepare.

definitely more fit but tony ran 280 to 300 non nascar races a year for like 15 yrs straight plus tony run full size non wing sprints allitle bit more of handful. larson got started different he done all his stuff in nascar way younger then tony because tony was busy at the age winning championships in IRL. people forget robby gordon he done it about 5 times an almost won the 500 but never had the cup equipment either one of these guys did

dudes a Wheelman like tony stewart, robby gordon, aj foyt, and Mario andretti. all the other cup drivers like dale jr for instance has said he didn't wanna make his self look bad trying any other discipline of racing but late model stocks. kenny wallace retired from cup wanted to learn to dirt race an did that's a Wheelman drive anything anywhere
