Only a few years ago, the world was terrified of touching anything that could have been touched by someone else. Now they are swapping germs etc each time they touch the horses. Why the hell can't they just leave the horses alone when posing for a photo?

I also saw one video where an older gentleman dug into his pockets and take out some candy and fed the horse! Guard told him it was ok. What if the horse was allergic or the gentleman could have something on his hands and pass that on to the horse.

Take the picture and move on. It's possible that you can stand next to the house without touching.

There needs to be a rule about not touching the horses. People could have chemicals or do something to hurt the horses.

May I just say that these troopers wear their gorgeous uniforms and sit their amazing horses beautifully. What a sharp (And let us face it, kind of sexy) look! Well done Troopers!

If you watch again, you'll see that at least one of those Officers is checking on her - she's not committing any Offence so they don't need to intervene. It's also possible that she's "known" for doing this at "Royal" premises. There are people out there who will deliberately do stuff to get a reaction, which they then film to put on social media, suitably edited, of course.

The Royal Artillery horses are a beautiful colour, very striking.

The police officers were definitely watching her but, they are also aware that people from that region spook very easily by police & are trained how to handle those situations. Although, in this day & age of terrorism, she very easily could have had an IED in her bag. Thank God 🙏 the situation didn’t turn into anything.

The woman is not what I would worry about. Take a good look at the young man with the hoodie and sweats that leans up against the fence next to the officers. From the time he showed up he keeps eyeballing the officers gun.

I do hope someone helped that poor woman , she appeared distressed possibly ill. Maybe she was standing by the officers hoping to be asked if she was alright , not able to ask herself .Not one person was kind enough to ask if she needed help , what have we become ?

It looked like the lady in purple standing by the Officers was terrified of something or someone. I can’t be sure though. Then the way She took off at a fast pace, it was almost like the situation changed and she took off abruptly, as though she was trying to get way from who ever it was. Very strange. I was surprised that not one person checked on her, even though she was standing by the Police Officers. Whatever her situation was, I hope she is safe.

If you watch her carefully, there are a few times she's looking around at people but if they look at her she lowers her eyes. I really hope she's okay, she gives me the feeling that she's scared and lost and afraid to ask for help.

It does seem very strange, that is true, but it could be that the lady in question is known to the police?

We dont know her situation but she did look vary suspicious weather she was ill or mental issues Horse Guards is no place for her especially with the Military security and i think the police were informing them on their radio. I think that lady hanging round the guards was up to something very suspicious and her bag had something heavy in it you could tell when she pulled it back on her arm. I seen her in another Viedo standing in front of chipsman they were having guard change and she just stood there officers had to tell her to move. It seemed odd there was a group start talking to officers almost as to distract them as shw moved bhind them. I guess i watched to many detective movies

I was concerned about her in another post. She is acting very strange, she looks scared or ill. Some were concerned she could be a security issue. I sure she’s just lost for real or mentally. But you can see how the police officers were following her. or then she is having serious mental/health problems and would need help. Honestly I'm the kind of person that would have approached her to ask if she could give me directions of something innocuous just to see her reaction. Is she waiting for someone? waiting for instructions via ear piece? Is she staying in a public place to avoid someone who has threatened her? No telling but you don't get a feel for something going on unless you ask. And the police would most certainly frighten her.

Maybe she was looking for a sense of protection from the officers. Their job is to protect the guards. I think they were acutely aware of her, notice when she left they split up. Dealt with appropriately.

The colour of these horses is just beautiful. The black ones are still my fav but they all are beautiful

I feel sorry for her, she looks unhappy. She could be homeless, or ill, or none of these things! The cops are in an awkward position. If they are MOD police (as most comments think they are) I don't know if they even have the authority to Stop and Search her bags. I stand to be corrected. To be honest the lady to me would be a security risk, why didn't the police ask her if she was ok or to move her on, with all the tourist about not a very secure place

Please, if the lady appears tomorrow, show compassion and talk to her, you do not need stop and search powers to ascertain if she's in distress, which I clearly think she was.

There needs to be several signs in multiple languages on either side of the arches, saying do not stand closer than 1 foot to the Horse and do not touch the Horse. You can take a photo near the Horse without being closer than 1 foot.

That horse is very mellow. 🐴🐴. The brown one is new to me.🐴

I can`t believe those police officers are so lackadaisical about who is around them. Had that "strange" woman with the yellow headscarf had a Bomb in her Bag the lot of them would have gone up within ten seconds of her hanging around that gate. It's unreal they don`t even ask to look inside bags that could be hiding a bomb, why they even allow people within 20 yards of the gate let alone allow them to freely enter the premises is asking for trouble. Yet it seems we indeed tempt fate in this country, & we must be the Terrorist dream as to how open we are to attack.

Police are so busy chatting they dont even NOTICE that strange woman for some time ; they should be ALERT.

I'm sure they had to move that lady on, she stood extremely close to one of the guards on tbe right hand side up the corner. She just stood there with no emotion on her face, staring at him. The armed police moved her on

I suspect that is what she was hoping for, but got fed up when it wasn't working and she was ignored. I used to help feed the homeless in London Soho area with the food for life night van and unfortunately this is often a ploy to get tourists etc to stop and ask her if she is ok and then she will tell a sob story and want money. I know plenty of people that did that and would then go buy drugs with it when they have homeless and hungry signs up or they have a pet. Only ever offer food to help like a coffee and sandwich and dog food. If you buy them groceries they will often exchange them for drugs, such as meat and more expensive items. I've seen a young lad get tins and loads of nestle coffee and exchange it for a bag of heroin because apparently his dealer wanted nestle instant cappucino🤦🏼‍♀️! However she is probably known to police, hence why they just observed. However I would still be wary because you never know. I got terrified one night when this guy who was normally fine when I served him hot food just suddenly lunged at me for no real reason that I could make out, it really freaked me out. Hence why police have tasers. Also the mental health facilities are overrun and underfunded and the system is overloaded throughout the country. Covid seemed to make many people go over the edge, especially poorer people stuck in not able to leave a tiny bedsit or flat. The shelters also aren't very safe that's why many younger homeless who often have run away from home or actually foster care sleep near doorways or places with CCTV so they feel safer. Sad situation. Sunak is twice as rich as the King he could perhaps do something instead of buying another house, plane or whatever Tribunemag did a very damning report on him in 2022. The Royal family however actually do things to help the country.

The lady in the scarf is indeed a bit unsettling, so much so I would be amazed if law enforcement was unaware of her story.

I would ask this young lady if she okay it’s heartbreaking we are not very caring these days. I took a young lady home with me from train station as sh got on the wrong train on more trains until next morning l could just leave her. 💖

It makes me wonder what the weather is like. Some people have on jackets, coats, sweaters, short pants ... 😳. I always wonder why one wears a coat but have shorts or short pants on. Hmmm.....

I saw the poor lady standing there .as so many on her said they couldn’t believe the police didn’t question her to see if she was ok .Both stood there watching her.Than all of sudden she walked off very quickly which I found weird .

Spooky, she does look suspicious to say the least. I am sure the two bobbies noticed her, but are powerless to stop and search and get her to move on if all OK. She wants to cause a confrontation with the guards or police. Making her look like she is having second thoughts about causing some sort of pro norm

Odd how she looked so scared; but when she walked away, very brisk and totally different deportment. Maybe she was trying to get attention and it didn't work.

If she wanted to cause a confrontation she did a terrible job of it.

She could have easily been a suicide bomber for all the NOT checking the police did. When she walked away, she walked away purposefully, not like she was lost or scared. Very odd.

I can't believe no one is asking that woman if she's alright !!! 😮

That “frozen” woman by the gate looks like she’s an abuse victim. 😢 Be interesting to see if anyone comes for her. I hope I’m wrong.

Poor poor little woman - how can everyone literally ignore her ..... wish I had been there.....I would've HAD to ask her if she was okay and could I help her ....... Gonna haunt me now - she looks as if she's the one being haunted....... Bless her, whatever her situation 😞 xxxs

Total disbelief that the police just ignored her - so so sooooo obvious that she's practically screaming out for some sort of help ..... can't believe how everyone is conveniently 'by passing ' her.....she looks such a desperate lost soul to me......xxs

Why wasn’t something done for this woman, she looks half starved. It may have been a stunt but she looks like she is in need of an intervention of some kind.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, SOLDIERS AND HORSES.....Im staggered at the absolute disrespect these people have for these serving soldiers and horses.

On weird film, that woman was wearing a winter coat all closed up, acting strange, then that woman does her weird act at the gates until that blonde guy comes along and she moves off fast...then in same film everyones wearing tee shirts etc...was this two different films made into one? If it was one continuous , then the guards ought to have had someone following her around. It was definitely weird but it also called for someone to ask her if she was ok when she stood there gripping the bars. Two stayed near her but no filming was made of them approaching her asking if she was ok. Suspicious to me....oh well

What was going on with the man pointing to his arm and yelling?

If the horse got him, it wasn't very well. Maybe they didn't like his energy.

Why is no one asking her if she is ok ???? This person filming is fixated on her but not asking her if she needs help…..disgraceful. Police ignoring her too. I’m ashamed for human kind…nothing human about us today…very sad

The police are't ignoring her, they've got their eyes on her and she hasn't done anything to warrant an approach from them.

I love the female guards they are beautiful with their horses ❤❤ Thank you for serving your king and country so proud of you all ❤❤

Why didn't the camera man mention this lady to the police or approach her himself to find out if she was alright ?

That woman's either I'll or there's an ulterior motive she's looks highly suspicious to me but at same time she hasn't been approached to see if she's ok

This is the New England asking her if she was ok you could end up arrested for some kind of made-up offence.

She was asked if she was okay, she looked up briefly at him but she wouldn't answer. Help for her was there if she needed it and she knew it but decided to move and not ask for Since she would not ask for help they just monitored her. If that were to hqppen in the US, an adult who refuses aid cannot be forced to accept help. As she had no obvious wounds and could ambulate on her own she could go as she wished. I'm gonna check some areas to see if anyone knows or learned of anything else. I learned though the police there are the ones to respond to such occurances, not the guard. You can see the police in the vid are keeping an eye on her.

Is she a sleep walker?! It's like she woke up and realized I'm not in bed anymore!! Spooky as hell!

I would be highly suspicious of ANYONE wearing all those baggy clothes and a big satchel, and acting so suspiciously.

I like the mom holding the tot asked guard if the could stand closer and she didnt let child touch horse.

I may well be wrong, but I would have to ask her if she was OK.

If she had been wearing a rucksack they would have had the area cleared.

The lady was watching all that was going on seamsto be praying? If you noice when she let she was walking at agood paces I think she was just her to see what wasgoing on and the guard were aware of her by radio

Do horses not bite in other countries and isnt there a big enough sign saying that the horses may kick and bite. Some folk make me laugh

Horses do bite in other countries. The problem is not all countries have horses. A lot of those people have never seen a horse before. Yes they have signs about kicking and biting, In English, which is a language he was not speaking so the sign probably looked to him like a 2 year olds first attemp at writing.
