This is so real. My parents even moved in with me and we split the rent and I STILL can’t even afford all my bills, let alone get myself or my son new clothes unless in dire dire need and I can borrow money 😭😭😭 it’s so sad to fight the need for a second job when I’m a TEACHER!

Well, Trump is going to make retirement age 71 for your Social Security, end Obamacare, privatize medicare( which will raise all our medical costs), cut certain SS disability benefits, and cut taxes for the 1%. So, good luck in that economy. Right now there is a global economy of inflation as a result of the pandemic. However, the US GDP is great, we have the lowest unemployment in 50 years, and Biden has decreased our deficit after Trump increased it by $3 billion, the highest deficit increase by any president in history. And the cause of this was, in part, to give the 1%, and himself, major tax cuts.

You save money by living on less than you make and dont fuckin tell me you cant i only work part time and no i dont live at home. I have 1k saved because i decide to make financial decisions that wont cripple me. Ya know. LIKE AN EMERGENCY SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

PYF. Pay yourself first. We literally teach this in (public) school... I'm a public school teacher. I have savings in as a deduction...gotta prioritize that. Too old to not save...

@@lessen518out of touch, much? I can’t pay myself if the choices are “pay me” or “pay my rent.” It’s doesn’t matter if there simply isn’t enough, which is the reality for maaaany people I know. And these are smart, educated, responsible adults. Attitudes like yours do. not. help.
