1958: I pitched for Saint Gregory's, Bellerose to win the CYO Brooklyn Queens championship. We loved ❤ baseball ⚾️ and this movie. Years later when I taught college biology I showed my students this clip to begin our Cardiology studies 😅.

James Komack's high harmony really makes this song stand out. But he went on to even greater behind-the-camera accomplishments, as writer-producer for such hits as Welcome Back, Kotter; My Favorite Martian and Chico and the Man, at one time having four hits on the air. He also directed episodes of many TV shows, including The Dick Van Dyke Show, Dr. Kildare and The Monkees.

Did this musical for my senior year in Highschool. This was done every 4 years and we were kinda sick of it but it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed playing Coach Van Buren.
