Disagree. I have had 3 people come up to Me in recent years while I was blasting Morse Era Purple, saying, Who is that? That's good. They were surprised that it was Deep Purple, but they liked it. @@bobhope3716

I think the sound of Made in Europe is far better. This version sounds empty...nearly no bass, guitar a little to loud and spongy and the organ is a little to loud, too. The version on Made in Europe sounds full and groovy. I wish they could do that great mastering of Made in Europe for all 3 complete shows.

@dasvadder Agreed that the bass could have been pumped up on this as it is a showcase for Glenn. However, being a huge Jon Lord fan, it's great that he's more up front in the mix here. He gets buried behind Ritchie a lot, esp. on the Made In Japan LP.

A.nivel de um show.gravado em 75,está muito.atual . Não perde para os guitarristas de.hoje . Uma.banda criativa que suas músicas.crescem ao.vivo. blackmore comparado aos. Aos dois: Jimi Page, e Tomy iome, é o mais.criativo. ao vivo. Alguém teve a.coragem de.dizer que.deep purple é uma.copia barato do led.zeplim. não tem nada haver. Duas bandas.totalmente diferentes,.em estilo, e vocal.

Yup, it was his last concert with Purple in 70s so he probably went full blast as they all did. Fucking energy here is unmatchable

Nessuno è paragonabile a loro. I deep purple hanno fatto veramente la storia. La critica non è stata corretta nei loro confronti meritavano l'Olimpio. Più degli altri gruppi. Led zeppelin con buoni album nei primi anni 70 fino ad oggi vivono di reddita. Ricordo a i giornalisti musicali che fino ad oggi i componenti dì deep purple sono ancora in voga

It happens. I’m in a pretty good band. I’ve played some of the songs in our set 300 times and yet at a gig I can get a brain fart and hit a wrong note or chord once in a while. Usually when I’m looking at a pretty girl in the audience!😂

I think these parts they added are not parts of already existing songs, they probably wrote them themselves for the concert versions of this song... But after the drum solo they played "The mule" (From the album "Fireball")

Around 3:30 the drums sounded to me like the intro of "Still I'am sad" of Rainbw.

@@tolgakarabykoglu6429 Actually the intro of "Still I'm sad" is nearly the same than the "You fool no one" riff. You fool no one was released in 1974 in the album Burn and Still I'm sad was released in 1975.

Other way around! The songs of Made in Europe are mixed from 3 diffrent shows. This one is the original full song from Paris. Most parts of You Fool No One on Made in Europe are from the show in Saarbrücken, but the solo is taken from this version.

Best recorded live version of YFNO is from Kilburn Gaumont in 1974. If you can find the original vinyl bootleg version, even better as that one has the full glorious reverb of the venue itself. Jon's intro solo is stellar, the band is smokin', and its Ritchie's pinnacle MkIII performance.
