Maybe if you used a step-down transformer to reduce the voltage and/or placed something with pretty high resistance in the circuit to reduce the current. Though, I’m not sure an electric eel would be able to provide sustained current needed to charge a battery without frying it. Maybe with some sort of inductor it might work.

@@Kurare2 That is pretty scary but we have almost 0 reason to believe that this fish really entered the man's urethra. Some scientist looked into it and many serious inconsistences were upheld against the occurence.

@@bobsemple262 I don't think so. Your body is has lots of water too. A human can die to an few mA (mili amper). 10-100 mA can kill you easily. The electricity is super deadly and invisible. You can't see it, but when you touch its too late.

It's pretty shocking how few likes you have.
These zappy danger noodley bois are so cool! The aquarium in Boston has one of these in a specialized tank that tracks how much electricity is being conducted with a neat meter above the enclosure. So cool!!

Some of the electric species are related, but the ability to produce strong electric shocks is also present in distantly related groups like the electric ray.
Instead of a gas tank in ur car just put a fish tank in it and put the electric eels in it xD

@@martin11844 first of all, read the response above. Second, who mentioned pain? We're talking about people Dying from this. And if some is to die from an electric shock, we'd need to know how much energy is flowing through the person (W), so we'd need the current and the voltage to calculate that.

I once kept an electric catfish as a pet. Probably my most interesting fish in 30 years of fishkeeping. Correction: The electric catfish is NOT a cousin to the electric eel. The electric eel is actually a type of knife-fish, where the electric catfish IS actually a catfish. They're not even in the same order, much less family or genus as what was implied by the use of the word "cousin" in the video.
An alien creature utilizing its Extraterrestrial technological capabilities, in order to maintain an electric yet stable, underwater habitat on the Earth itself!
