Everytime Jeremy's about to catch the fish that he's after, it always come out as like a boss fight with the scenery and settings. Like in this episode, he spent days looking for this eel with no success but then just as he's about to give up, he came across this one tiny pond in the open with the eel in the middle of it just like an end game boss fight lol and this hasn't been the only case! The ones he did with the Arapaima fish too, the scenery was in a nice looking deep quiet pond just like a boss fight.

Better rod makes you fight the fish better / more effective, but it does not find the fish, nor attract the fish better :D knowledge, time and luck brings the fish

The electric eel can make a shock 860-1050 volts. Larger voltages have been reported, but the typical output is sufficient to stun or deter virtually any animal. When agitated, they can produce these intermittent electric shocks over at least an hour without tiring.

I used to watch this with my dad when i was in highschool (i just graduated college in 2019). Im always excited and happy when we watch this together.

I remember seeing one of these for sale back when I was in maybe the 9th grade around 1998 or so at a place called Lurking in the Weeds in St Clair Shores, MI. It was smaller, but it was I believe $100 and in a tank by itself. They are closed now, and I have never seen another one since
