Is having low confidence in English holding you back from achieving your dreams and goals at work?
Do you feel great when you work in your native language, but feel like a very different person when you work in English?
You just can’t communicate at the same high level in English and it is frustrating and holding you back from your dreams.
To become confident in English, I believe you need to really USE English.
You need to speak with feeling and emotion.
You need to become confident using great business words, terms and phrases.
You need to build a high level of business communication skills.

    I'm one of those crazy English teachers. But I always tell my students that it's okay to make mistakes, no one is perfect, even native speakers sometimes make mistakes. I know I am not the best teacher, I admit there are so many things I don't know and many things that I do wrong. But I am sure that my students are going to confidently use English in their lives.

    What I learn with pleasure I never forget.It’s true communicating can happen perfectly well even if I make mistakes.The ordinary Englishman is very leniently. Sometimes it's ok to say that 'don't care mistakes, don't care to be perfect' especially when you are a native speaker in your own language. But before we feel confidence to speak a language I mean when we are on the half way of learning a language journey, it's difficult to accept that advice.It's difficult not to don't care of mistakes, not to take care of being perfect.

  • @BusinessEnglishwithGrant

    @BusinessEnglishwithGrant

    It's definitely a challenge to let go of perfection when learning a new language, but progress is more important than perfection. A few things are important to realize. First, nobody is perfect in any language. Nobody. Second, the idea of the video is to stop worrying about using perfect words and grammar and just try to be free and communicate your message. Try it. It works. I promise you. I've been doing this with clients for many years. They love it.

    Hi and thank you for your note. I've got a few things for you to try. As the video says, don't worry about making mistakes. Also, next time you have a conversation with someone in English, forget about your English and try to do 2 things: 1) Focus on the message that your audience needs (why are you talking to them?...to help them with a message); and 2) what do you want them to feel from your message? (maybe happiness, or they need to do something fast, or there is trouble, or some type of feeling). When you focus on your message and a feeling you want them to feel, you will forget about your English and just communicate so much better.! Try it and let me know.

    I have been trying so hard sir. It’s really rare I’m proud of myself but more than two years ago I couldn’t even speak and understand people and know I can. I have been going through different emotions from happiness to depression with lack of confidence as well. Some relatives around don’t really believe in this retraining due to this one for them it’s only a “hobby” and other people when I asked some advice on what I should do to become one of them.They just responded me to give up, it’s not for me especially because I’m a non native speaker and also they added by saying “following my writing skills,they won’t never sign up with me for their kids” (I desire to be an English coach for kids(I must try because I’ve never teach before it but I love challenges)) (it was surely true but I got hurt the ways they told me that). fortunately I have two people who cheer me up a lot. Thank you so much for your advice,I’ll implement it and give a shot. Thank you 🙏

    It's okay to make mistake! That's a good advice to English learners, and for me as well. I often focus on grammar when I wanna say something and when I got mistakes, I felt so bad about my English. After this video, I feel more confident in speaking without thinking about my grammar. I hope I could be better then! Thanks for your sharing! Love and hugs from Vietnam.

    Thank you for writing. If I understand your question, I think you are asking if dialect or accent matters when speaking English. To me, the answer is "no," it doesn't matter at all. What matters is that when someone speaks, it should be easy for other people to understand them. If we speak in a way that is difficult for others to understand us, it is like we are punishing our audience and making them work so hard to listen to us. Make it easy on our audience. Speak clearly, but keep your own accent and enjoy English.

    At first glance, this video's title looks plausible but most foreigners who can't speak English fluently used to be mocked by native speakers as they can't speak correctly. Many Americans want to ridicule non-native speakers who can't speak American English perfectly, thus, those non-native speakers don't want to talk with Americans in the street. The most ridiculous things are those Americans are not multilingual, and just monolingual guys who can't speak foreign languages at all. Why do many non-native speakers have some ESL study processes at community colleges in the US? If Americans don't use the sentence "Stop using broken English!" in front of non-native speakers, many English learners will follow this video creator's impressive tips and advice. Unfortunately, many Americans don't consider it.
