A great patriot song like you said "from vets on both sides of the pond". you might also like Lee Brice, a Country singer, who sings about a brother he lost in a war. It's called "I Drive Your Truck". It's a powerful song full of emotion with an added touch of an also powerful video.

It was written by Naomi Judd(RIP) over 30 years ago but the message still resonates today more than ever. Thanks and God Bless you.

I love Brantley Gilbert's voice. I was hooked after "Bottem's Up". This song tears at your hearts. I can't imagine as you, sending one of my boys off to war. So lucky, as a Canadian I never had to do that. Such a touching beautiful song. Next tear jerker, Riley Green, "I Wish Grandpas Never Died". Get you hanky Craig. Your reaction so wonderful as usual. Thank you. Cheers from Canada.🇨🇦

And if you bust out every now and again....who cares? I don't think anyone here holds that against you. Fact is, it means you are human and you have a heart and it ALL matters. Thank you for your service too. Blessings to you and yours.

Brantley Gilbert is awesome. He not onlry has hits of his own, but he has written hits that other singers have performed (ie; "Dirt Road Anthem" released by Jason Aldean). Check out "Bottoms Up", it's not a tear jerker, but it's awesome! Love that song!

He is an amazing singer! What an amazing song! The second verse hits home for me! Brantley Gilbert also collaborated with Five Finger Death Punch, Brian May from Queen, and Kenny Wayne Sheppard. The song is called Blue on Black(original by Kenny Wayne Shepherd). PLEASE check it out with the video, which is a tribute to first responders.

They Call Me Doc by Walker McGuire is a hell of a tribute to combat medics. In fact, it was written by a retired Navy Corpsman. Today (August 26th) is the anniversary of the HKIA bombing that killed at least 183 people. Among the 13 Americans killed, there was a young Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class by the name of Maxton Soviak. Doc Soviak gave his life with his men that day, trying to save others. If you're looking for any way to honour the fallen tomorrow, may be give that song a play in Doc Soviak’s name. Fair winds and following seas, doc.

I love Brantley Gilbert!!! He’s so freaking talented!!! True Story: Brantley is in recovery and has been sober now for over 10 years. He wrote a song called “Just As I Am.” I’m an alcoholic and listened to this song every day as I drove to my meeting. It makes me cry every time that I hear it. Craig, you should check it out.
