'You COULDN'T make this up!' - Panel in DISBELIEF over 'hypocrisy' of Ireland migrant returns

'If it weren't so serious it would be hysterically funny.'
Conservative parliamentary candidate, Alex Deane, says unless the EU agree to take back migrants from the UK, the UK shouldn't accept migrants from Ireland.

Exactly. The Irish government has seriously messed up. They've ignored the will of their own people for as long as possible and called the 75% of the country who are against it 'Far Right' any time they raised concerns. Now that immigration has become such a massive problem that the Irish government can no longer ignore it, they're trying to use the British as a scapegoat. I can only hope that the people of Ireland are not stupid enough to fall for it.

From 1542 to 1922. Ireland was colonized by England and then Great Britain from 1542 until 1800. From 1800 till 1921 it was part of the UK. 1922, after the Irish War of Independence and the Irish Civil War (which has never officially ended) saw the establishment of the Irish Free State. N. Ireland needs to be free and become part of the rest of Ireland. There has to be only one Ireland.

@@Grassdia Not really true, Dublin was a Viking city but before that Anglo Saxons lived there, it's a similar story with Cork (and other cities) it had been Viking and an old English outpost, the Normans ruled much of Ireland has they had England, we also have the mysterious Yola people, historically known as Forth and Bargy people or Forthers, were an ethnic group that formed in the baronies of Forth and Bargy in County Wexford, they spoke a Germanic form of old English, the traffic wasn't all one way, we had the Scotty invading Britain and taking over Scotland, we had Irish fighting with English kings and fighting against English kings not to mention the Irish slave traders that plied their trade along the British coastline.
