id have concerns. if grandma or who ever loses control of their car and wipes out a wall is the house a total loss? what happens when they settle. if the walls crack itll look like crap. it appears theres already a crack upper right corner of the garage door. its a cool concept but i wonder how theyll hold up 5-15 years down the road. i guess you could sheet rock over if you wanted to remodel. the outlet and conduit reminds me of a 1980's face block commercial building. just my opinion. opinions are like buttholes everybody has one. im just not sold on it. i like my traditional stick built full brick with the warm feel of harwoods and carpet. guess im old fashion.

I agree with you on the wiring and outlets. It looks bad...but I also feel that today's construction sucks and new ideas need to be tried if we want a change. The exposed wiring and outlets is a small sacrifice esthetically hopefully it was worth it got the sturdiness of the construction

As an electrician, all of the pipe in a house just looks completely weird, of course I know why it had to be like that.. I wonder if it’s a nightmare wiring a house like that and if it costs a lot more due to all of the extra time for piping. Beautiful home though!

I was having the exact same thought. Before adding the the foam create in the middle of the walls, they could have left holes for dropping down metal conduit to each socket and switch. Put in plenty so it will never need additional sockets in place. They could even mount in the back boxes as they go along. Looks too industrial having them external

I worry about the strength of the walls if you have to drill something into it, I feel it might crumble like mortar. Hi. The acerage, pool, and landscaping on this home is worth over $220,000, so it is priced below market. Comps are 800 plus in the area. The little houses at the end of the video are less expensive 45k-85k.

@@timothylankau4843 hi. When I lived in Southern California my grandparents $30k 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house was "worth" $2 million in 2015. Do you really think a 1950's house is "worth" $2 million? It's not. And you are a foolish person if you purchase a house when it's not worth what you paid. Having a house on the "outskirts" of a large city where the houses in the city are $290k or more where the person doesn't have to travel from the "outskirts" to reach their job and stores is gonna drive up your cost in gasoline, convince, time, and you might have an issue with charging your electric car to make the round trip. Do whatever you want, but that house is not worth 3/4 of a million dollars.

Exactly lol it’d only sell for about $350k in west TN. I found WAY too many places on the interior walls that were completely uneven and looked goofy. Exterior too on the smaller units. Overpriced garbage that will fall apart and begin to crack in less than 10yrs. I appreciate the fact they’re trying something new, but there are still true craftsman in the trade who do breathtaking work by hand. I’d rather have our brick home here on our farm (built in 1961) or our new log home we’re gonna have built in about a year ANY DAY of the week! Our log home will cost ~ $502k turn key, 3080sq ft. It’ll be built on the back of our property, 3 stories including the basement, and also have a garage. It being custom obviously costs a bit more than their usual builds. We’ve already done our blueprints. It also helps that we’re getting a family discount 😅
