You can See and Feel these Holograms! REALISTIC

Ғылым және технология

The development of holographic technology has come an extremely long way in recent years. It looked for a good number of years that holograms would never leave the domain of science fiction, despite the fact that this was not the case. But as of very recently, things have begun to take a different turn.

Light is obstructed by physical objects. If you stick your hand in front of a beam of light, how can that holographic image not be affected ?

as he said, the one that you seem to be referring to, is based on infra red lasers hitting a gas in the air and generating plasma for an instant. that free floating plasma exists for only a moment, but it's longer than the beam of laser that hits that space for even less time (less than 1/1000 of a nano second, if I heard correctly ... and that causes the air in that spot to be excited into a plasma and what you see and feel is colored plasma free floating, but there's millions to trillions of them floating in specific spots generated by multiple 3 dimensionally intersecting laser beams. the beams are themselves invisible, but energize the plasma and that's what becomes visible. I'm not sure how that is colored without controlling which gases are in the air, but it's a plasma based image, according to what they said. And that becomes something you can touch and perhaps even feel. the reason it doesn't burn you is because each dot in the air is only there for a fraction of a second, only energized for an even smaller fraction of a second... just floating where it is, until it loses cohesion and gets replaced by another one.

Crazy to think you can even buy a mini holo fan which actually projects a realistic hologram in front of you even let’s you upload your own images onto an sd card - I was amazed how 3d they looked especially the Mario one looked really good

that fan device is just a fan with a persistence of vision LED array that provides light that changes as the fan blades spin. it's a pretty simple function with an even simpler program --- what really gets weird is what you can do with it, if you send the right video data --- it can even become a monitor or tv on an invisible space on a wall (more or less)

It's probably using sound waves that are outside of our range of hearing. It seems it uses Ultrasound, so it's definitely going to be sound waves that one can feel due to pressure changes in the air. It's a type of haptic feedback.

Plasma is produced as a result of this process, which ionizes the molecules in the air. 😬 While ionized air can have benefits, like helping improve indoor air quality by causing airborne particles to clump together and land on surfaces where they can be cleaned up, the process that creates the plasma could potentially generate harmful substances, depending on the specific conditions. Breathing in ionized gases can have different effects depending on the specific gas. Here's a summary based on the available information: 💀 Nitrogen: Nitrogen dioxide, a compound that can form when nitrogen is ionized, can cause harmful effects on the lungs, including increased inflammation of the airways, worsened cough and wheezing, reduced lung function, increased asthma attacks, and greater likelihood of emergency department and hospital admissions. 💀 Oxygen: Ionized oxygen, or ozone, can cause eye, nose, and throat irritation, headaches, loss of coordination, and nausea. It can also damage the liver, kidney, and central nervous system. 💀 Argon: Inhaling a large volume of argon can pose a hazard of asphyxiation. Symptoms may include headache, ringing in the ears, dizziness, drowsiness, unconsciousness, nausea, vomiting, and depression of all the senses. 💀 Carbon Dioxide: High levels of carbon dioxide can displace the amount of oxygen in the air and can cause asphyxiation (suffocation) resulting in symptoms like headaches, dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, increased breathing rate, loss of coordination, loss of consciousness, and possibly death. 💀 Neon: There is limited information available on the effects of breathing ionized neon. However, some studies suggest that ionizing devices can generate ultrafine particles that are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs. 💀 Helium: Inhaling helium displaces oxygen, putting you at risk of side effects such as dizziness, loss of consciousness, and even death. 💀 Methane: At very high levels, methane can displace the amount of oxygen in the air and can cause asphyxiation (suffocation) resulting in symptoms like headaches, dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, increased breathing rate, loss of coordination, loss of consciousness, and possibly death (do not fart). ♥ Krypton: Inhalation of krypton has been shown to have neuroprotective effects in some studies. However, more research is needed to fully understand the effects of breathing ionized krypton. 💀 H2O (Water): Some studies suggest that ionizing devices can generate ultrafine particles that are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs.

this is why you'd probably need a breathing device near the system otherwise you'd have to have a really powerful air filtration system that cleans the air as it produces colorized projections. Besides, if you touch the laser beams that produce the lasers, you'd be risking burning your skin, or touching plasma which --- in small enough amounts can be safe, but higher amounts can cause harm as well. ENOUGH plasma can melt flesh. Luckily that system relies on persistence of vision as well as plasma decaying back into gas while also being refired (by lasers) billions to quadrillions of times per second? and that's also really hard to measure how safe it is to touch, never mind breathing it.

Well most of the footage you are using is of augmented reality, not hologram, so no. Additionally, the phantom projection technique that you mention looks like a flat piece of paper in real life, it isn't 3D. Therefore it looks great only when you watch it at home as captured by a 2D camera, and only if the camera was at the correct angle, if you would be watching from the side, the image would be like looking at a piece of paper from the side, a thin 2D sliver.
