5 of a kind is a real thing in poker. It can be achieved with wild cards. Also, it's the highest possible hand even beating a royal flush. I think

Wild cards aren't typically allowed in most games which is why it's mostly unknown.

Many years ago, there was a simpsons episode where a bunch of unsavory characters are playing poker. one of them puts down 5 Aces expecting to win, but then the guy next to him puts down 6 Aces.

That Bingo level was a Bingo card for things you can find in troll levels: red coins where the key doesn't matter, rooms that look the same but work differently, offscreen thwomps, anti-softlock, and even guts to make you restart the whole level or wait for the time to run out. That poker level is incredible. The low gravity bomb level showed a very interesting mechanic. The "just right" mole indicators level made me look like the Pacha (The emperor's new groove) meme. Great selection! Thanks, DGR!

I found it in the middle of the night during Covid and binged the whole thing. Its sooooo good.

I for one would love to see handpicked level episodes more often; it's nice to see Dave's talent and commentary matched with creative levels

Yo Dave, the singing actually made me like this episode!

That bedcliff level was phenomenal if you understand the trolling meta. I was dying at all the mikes and a couple other meta things.

I'm in agreement that for community building, twitch or streaming in general is a good option, though being active in the comments section of a youtube video is even better because you dont miss any comments. For just viewing your content, edited videos will always be better because few people have hours to sit down for one session of content on a regular basis unless they are kids, taken care of by somebody else, or unemployed. Here's to hoping the Mariothon very very soon becomes video content again, because it's been stream only content for 3 months now.

A great way to create a dying market, is to inform them that it is depreciating. People will leave not wanting to participate in something past its prime.

Came here for the Poker, but, yes, I will take surprise Taskmaster, any day. Taskmaster remains underrated. The US should try a version. ...... I mean, a good version.

Re: The Bingo Cooldown level There was a troll level contest that included a bingo card, and the spaces were things like, "Use a broken track" and "Copy a troll from one of Shadekitty's levels". Not one to be outdone, Bedcliff made this level, which fills all 24 spaces on the card.

That last level made a lot more sense in Carl's video.

FYI, a flush is 5 of the same suit, not 5 of a kind. 5 of a kind has no other name (except perhaps Yahtzee)

Twitch might be better for getting to know your audience, but Chris does such a great job of making you look good I'm not sure I could stand the reality over there.

That last lvl was for people to fill out their MM2 bingo cards. It had spike death, soft lock, someone’s name, thwomp death, ect. That’s why it was called bingo. My guess anyway

I have to say that as somebody who does know how to play poker, I couldn't understand those rules at all.

First I saw that Good Smile is releasing a Shin-chan Nendoroid, now I find DGR playing a Shin-Chan (Crayon Shin-chan being its original Japanese title) inspired level. Really makes me wish Funimation hadn't let their hold on the rights lapse 7 years ago, or at least that I'd gotten their dubs of the first three seasons before they went out of print...

This set of levels could make a DLC that I could pay for. Ok, the bingo troll level maybe nit. 😅

You can get 5 of a kind if you play using Jokers as wild cards. Needless to say, this is not exactly common even then. :p

You can draw the Joker to get 5 of a kind, I think.

I remember seeing a 5-of-a-kind in poker. the owner was a skeleton during the times I was patrolling the Mojave and wishing for nuclear winter.

5 of a kind could happen if shuffling two decks together.

I know how to play poker, and that how to play still didn't make any sense lol

5 of a kind is only possible in poker with dice, also called Chapeau here in Europe. When you throw 5 of the same dice symbols it is called 'Poker' and is the highest possible combination. *Flies away*

Standard single deck poker would definitely not have 5 of a kind:D However some VARIANTS use multiple decks, and then 5 of a kind is possible.

DGR, the way you CAN get 5 of a kind in poker is if you are playing with a Joker

5 of a kind is not cheating when your deck has 5 suits.

5-of-a-kind IS possible in Poker, if you're either playing with multiple decks or using Jokers/wild-cards. Additionally, it is the HIGHEST POSSIBLE hand in Poker, and even beats out a Royal Flush.
