Defunding starts with each and every one of us, right in our wallets. We don’t need legislation, or an official act. Just stop paying them. That means everything you pay taxes on, you decide your level of contribution down to the bare necessities. And it wouldn’t take long, couple of weeks. They cannot function without continuous cash flow.

I live in a county in California that has a population of 44,000. In 2022 the top cop made $313,000. Of course they think they deserve to have a vehicle that cost the tax-payers extra. A cheif can't ride around in the same level of vehicle that a meer cop would drive. In Fremont Ca. they have several captains and they all make over $500k per year. It isn't only the cost of the vehicle, the cost to upgrade to cop car is another $70k, total cost is about $130k to $150k.
