I'm 40 and have never "closed" anyone. I've always thought that I was the least persuasive person. But now after coming across Brad Lea and Andy Elliot's work, I'm fired up to learn how to sell. I know I will suck at it at first, but this these guys are the mentors I've never had in my life and I want to be around their energy and absorb as much as possible. I know what I want in life, its a house and a decent truck and if I'm really fortunate a family. I have none of these thing right now. And I won't give up until I get it. And he’s absolutely right that most of us have can’t answer “What it is we want in life”. That in itself is pure gold advice… try listening again.
