Do it. It was my children's bedtime song, however I replaced 'please don't take my sunshine away' with 'you are my sunshine,my sunshine all day' (and night) Bedtime songs last 4eva, all the best x

I went to see them both back in 1973 the day I got married, it was in Manchester UK, that looks like the same place? It was the perfect wedding present. I loved them both then and still do, they were the best and took time out to talk to their fans outside and sign programmes....... Miss you Johnny and June the world has lost 2 great entertainers.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I would lie in bed every night and sing this song....everytime I did he would start kicking!! And everytime I would be in complete awe!!! I still sing it for my kids before bed!! Love johnny and June...so cute!!

When they sang it it was it wasn’t just a song it was truly how they felt.

I've always found that the best videos of songs are the ones such as this one. The singer (s) just singing there. No dancers, no flashy lights or weird effects. It's so much genuine and real. It's basically an honest performance. A rare thing to find nowadays. Hat's off for good old music videos :)
