You are more than a to do list

I love to-do lists, but I've realised that they can also put a lot of pressure on you and become a negative thing if you don't "accomplish" everything.
A few months ago I made a video ( • There are so many thin... ) where I created and shared a to-do list of things for the upcoming month. I didn't complete most of these things and that is not only completely fine, but also completely human. So I made this in response to it.

    this is a lesson i am still learning, that to-do lists can become bad mentally. like doing something that isn't on it and guilt-tripping yourself for "being lazy or procrastinating" from doing your "actual goals". this was a lovely collage and message cutie reminding me of that lesson!

    Exactly. And sometimes doing exactly what is best for you is all you need to do, even if it's not what you expected you'd be doing and it's hard when your mind doesn't realise that. It's a lesson, I think, that it'll take time to learn, but if I can remind the both of us that our time is ours and we aren't wasting it when we take breaks or change directions then I'm so, so glad *hugs*
