Was looking forward for Kejriwal to answer the questions rather than dodge it. He is still speaking in terms of what’s wrong but isn’t able to give a convincing answer of what he’ll do about it. Beating around the bush while blaming the framework itself will not help anybody.

Arvind Kejriwal taught a basic structure to improve villages and life for general poor people in the villages in India. All rich and famous can't see it, they can send their children to private schools and for degrees out of country, why will they need to bother about what a poor men goes through, what Arvind is explaining, try to understand.

Dear Vikrant, I encourage you to read up on what he and the party believes in. And if you still think these guys dont have a vision, you would be entitled to your opinion. I respect your questioning attitude, but the answers are there. Please look for them, and form your final opinions. By the way do you think we have a credible and strong Foreign policy today ? A good system of governance (at gram panchayat levels), and do you really believe the government works within constitution's spirit.

Having said that, your CVC point is well made, and is welcome. All that is needed really, is to have a CVC which has powers to freely and independently investigate, and prosecute. Put in adequate checks and balances and you have exactly what has been demanded by the activists in the name of a Jan Lokpal.

Anybody who looks at Mr. Akhtar's statements objectively can discern that all he is trying to do is blame him. There is no reason begind his statements. I would have called it laughable, but for the fact that its shameful to see an eminent media figure attack a true agent of meaningful change in the system without any understanding of the movement that he is attacking. The answers by Kejriwal are impressive, and I hope the viewers are patient enough to listen to them.

Exactly Shoaib. I have been doing that too. Lately I have managed to convert two of my flatmates (we share a flat) over a period of two months through intense debates. One of them was a staunch Congress-ite, the other was a staunch BJP supporter who even liked Modi at that time. For they have the choice between ruling and governing ? The point that I am trying to make is that the possibility of misusing something does not mean that we don't have it at all. All that it does is that we ensure adequate and more checks and balances. Further, I urge you to read about what these people proposed to check these risks.

Reform is required he is absolutely right and we shouldn't compare India with other nation. India can shine beyond limits provided there shouldn't be any stoppage to logical reforms. my friend, there was a flaw in keriwal's answer.........javed saab asked him "aap ne kaha tha aap prime minister nahi banna chahte kyon nahi banna chahte??".he didn't answer..second as javed saab pointed out "aap kehte hai log faisla karenge....kaise karenge sadak pe??"........which is exactly what kejriwal and his group does......Mobocracy..rather than going by the proper democratic way of parliamentary system

JA is one of the individuals who enjoy self pride which is in fact gifted by god & the people due 2 some of his professional achievements; but, on the other hand he is least bothered about the interests of general public. He would be happy if AAM advocates some policies which could favour his business. Basically he is kind of people who always tends to promote ones own brand. I too had a very good image of JA & his wife until few years back when I saw his comment about global spiritual leader

Indian public thinks of politics as a bollywood movie where the underdog is the hero.The problem is Kejriwal knows that Indian mindset and nicely playing the tragic heros charecter and everyone shedding tears here.Facts please.Panchayati system already does what he is asking for. High courts/district courts are there at cheap cost. It is not physically possible to allow every case to reach supreme court thus the 1L threshold. Mind friends think rationally act logically. This is not a movie.

I think Javed sir asked a good question, which Arvind ji answered beautifully. Well all it doesnot mena that you are a celebrity than you know all stuuf. Javed expressed his opinion. If we don't ask such question, the AAP will convert to communist party. People have to keep asking and AAP have to keep answering.

Well I respect your point of view, but plesae go on the ground to the villages and see whats happening. These guys have been into social work for decades and the government failed to meet their democratic demand (supported by millions) to have an independent corruption watchdog in the Lokpal. Why are they then not justified in doing what they do ? BTW on the panchayati raj, their solution is much deeper. Please at least take the time to go through it before you criticise it.
