After 3-6 months of regular self-improvement content consumption I`ve started it as the new year came - started journaling with a to-do list focused on me improving on the traits i lack in the most, i also started regular workout, added a morning prayer to renew and strenghten my faith and bond with God. Overall pushing myself in the right direction for my future so i can be proud of the man i can become. And yes simple life and goals, stuff you can keep track on and work on to improve can help you to become better. So my current goal is to keep it up for a year and see all the changes in my life and hopefully for the rest of my life in similar style. May God bless you all peeps

We’ll said man, I’ve been feeling this way for a while. Keeping things simple actually gives you the ability to focus on the truly important things. Working hard and keeping things simple is how I personally think God wants us to live and we are the ones that complicate things.

While watching I was reminded of a quote from st. Augustine "How sweet all at once it was for me to be rid of all those fruitless joys which I had once feared to lose!" Your videos have been a blessing to me, keep up the good work Dre!

Great video Dre, this not only implies for men, I think the whole world could do with atleast slowing down a little bit. Comparing it with spinning plates is great. I like to see it as a boulder following you, and with everything you do wrong like cheating on your girl, the boulder gets bigger and goes faster, this way you'll eventually get crushed by it. And your big ego collapses on you. And while the boulder is following you, you miss all the beautiful things life has to offer because you have to run all the time trying to stay ahead of it. We need more christians like us to spread the truth to the world. If possible i like to see you in the future you posting a video about porn escalation how it affects man , i was a porn addict myself but Jesus Christ helped me overcome this addiction ! I would love you to explore more about this subject and share it to your audience , because porn escalation is real it starts from normal sex scenes to really weird and disgusting stuff that are totally out of your personal morals but because you are so deep in the addiction you will need more dopamine rush to satisfy yourself so you start seeking to real extreme genre of porn ! I have hair loss and I hide it by keeping my hair messy shoulder length and having a beard. Do you think I should have my hair tied up in a bun or slicked back in public to reveal the hair loss, be embarrassed, feel ugly and painful and reveal the truth or should I shave the hair completely? hey dre, i noticed you said you're only focusing on god for these next 21 days. Just think about this, god has eternal life for us, that includes you if you believe with your heart that jesus is god, died on the cross for our sins, and resurrected after three days. Therefore if you have eternal life, why are you spending so much time and energy on worldly things? (money etc.) Of course it's okay to do your job and provide for the family i'm not saying that that's bad. But just keep your prioirities in mind. as a christian it is important to put god above all. God also sais that wisdom is worth way more than gold, so you should seek it as if it is gold, gems, or silver (i'm thinking of a chapter in proverbs but it's been a while since i've read it so i'm definitely not using the same exact words). But what i'm trying to say is that as you have eternal life, and this life on earth including the wordly things, is your relationship with god not wayyyyy more important? So maybe you're spending 90% of your time on god now for 21 days which is good, but if you were spending 90% of your time on worldly things then my best advice as a fellow christian would be to spend more time on god as that will not only help you in this world, but eternally as well. (i'm currently really tired as i'm battling myself in getting a better sleeping schedule after struggling with coughing myself awake for weeks, so my guidance here is not perfect and might not represent fully what i wanted to tell you but it tried.) So most importantly, seek the kingdom of god first, and follow his word as his word is our guide to living a perfect life.

What does it mean focus on Christ ? Just think about him ?

I suggest the book of John and Paul's letter to the Romans in the Bible. Focusing on Christ is about remembering what He's done for us and putting effort into discerning how He wants us to live our lives day to day. Be blessed and be a blessing!

Start a prayer by going through these 4 things: > Gratitude. (Thank God for 10 things you're grateful for) > Glorifying. (Praise Him for everything He has done, will do, & is about to do in your life) > Guidance. (Ask for Him to direct your life, especially during these 21 days) > Growth. (Acknowledge God's mighty power & ask Him to help you expand as a man) Then jump on the Youversion bible app & do the daily devotional, should take you no more than 5 min or so.
