That was some good driving. Just accelerating a bit late out of the apex every now and again, but the other bikes were definitely more powerful I think.

Ari is an animal! And the idea of ripping a bike through the iconic corkscrew of Laguna Seca is wild! Definitely a bucket list thing

Ari never disappoints! Cool video.

I was so damn stoked to see "Henning" on the leaderboard honestly amazing he was able to just jump in and play like that. Hope there's more!

The sound is the only part of the R7 I don't like. Sounds like a lawnmower to me lol

Looks a blast, light and responsive on corner entry with plenty grunt on the way out, hell of a package you got yourselves boys, a true riders bike

Ari is a beast, the corkscrew looks genuinely scary from that angle :D I'd still absolutely love a shot around that track :D

lol, the joys of the laguna sounds check between T5 and T6.

Using all of the track and great lines. You can tell his been on Laguna before the way he hit the chicane.

Ok so Ari was faster than me back when he had long hair but that looks like he is moving around Laguna at pretty fast pace . That R7 looks like turns quick .

Just an average streetbike twin from Yamaha. Blasting around a race circuit up to redline lap after lap. Reliably. Without leaks. Without excessive wear. Japan makes good stuff.

Any manufacturer can join moto2, just have to use the glorious 765 engine which has absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I love how the guy at the gate looked. He was like " why are you looking at me? Get the f out of here."

That is insane how early (and hard) an experienced rider can get on the throttle in the corkscrew. He pinned that bad boy mid-turn while at a super sharp lean angle…and going downhill. That is so counter-intuitive to how my brain works. It just goes to show how much a good rider can extract from a bike vs an Average Joe like me.

He wasnt mid turn and he didnt pin it. its called rolling on the throttle. Only a dipshit or unintelligent person would pin the throttle while leaned into a corner. Go back to msf man

Ironically, that's my slowest sector. The really good riders carry more entry speed into the left and get on the gas even earlier...

The corkscrew is steep at the top and flattens out as you go down, so the wheels and suspension are heavily loaded. You will never get more traction than gradually coming out the bottom of a steep hill.

Really wanted to upgrade to an R1... but an R7 track bike is also heavily weighing in the consideration

It does get in the way! That's the price you pay for a decent angle. It's mounted on the tank, just behind the gas cap.
