Yes and also now you get heal in nss it means if you did flash in nss which is launcher also gives health

@@goldenoxo yeah NSS just felt semi pointless to me. Losing 1,1 and Kincho 1+2 losing the follow up BT D1, it had very niche uses and not many of them were amazing to me. I’m glad they really played a bit more into it

@@eproductions5115 he’s pretty underwhelming when compared to the rest of the cast. He requires triple the work to be competitive. Generally unsafe on most of his tools. Pros make him work because they’re just incredibly strong foundational tekken players but other than that, I think they could have done more for him.

Can't wait for Twitch chat to type EYAWWWWWWWWWW during T8 tournaments now.

The first tekken I played was 5 then stopped playing the series altogether and got into street fighter. Tekken 8 is where its at, definately going to main yoshi

Meditation to heal chipped damage healing and punishing with 3+4 has been my goated move with Yoshi in ranked

I can appreciate his hesitantcy to recommend Yoshi to beginners, BUT! Tekken 7 was my first fighting game, and i have 200+ hours only ever playing Yoshi with pretty good success. Yeah, if you're on the fence about who it pick, maybe go with someone else first, but if he really stands out to you, go for it!

The sad news is, everybody online connection is not perfect and is delay by a frame or 2, so the back 22 into heat is not always guaranteed after flash

They turned Yoshi into a mini Maleana Blade of Michela from Elden Ring. I genuinely believe he can be high tier!

He's a mishmash of Tekken and Soul Calibur's versions of Yoshi. He's got more in common with his Soul Calibur iteration than he does Malenia. (Particularly since he's been around way longer than she has.)

Oof i dont like characters healing life as a legitimate mechanic in FGs. With Yoshi getting it back for landing specific punishes in swordless, i wonder how itll play out

Yoshi had 4 ways to heal in T7, these additions are not too off for the character.

Jun has heal too and for kaz i realized when he hits a heat attack he heals all chip damage , will be intresting game is a lot faster but maybe the heal makes up for it

You do that by pressing back 1+2 and by doing that Yoshimitsu can launch opponents and also gain some health on that !

2:10 "it's safe" frame data: "not really" but yea, it's -12, but the push back is quite far

Looked like at tip range it's -12 but with enough distance to make it probably safe against most characters. He then did it again closer where it's -8

Another upload of this by rosesnevercry or something like that has a top comment of more stuff Kaneandtrench noted if you want to see a small bit more before release, mentioned it being -8 and forcing crouched. I'm just not 100% if that -8 is heat frames or in general with -12 being tip range properties

How do you get people to respect yoshi? He lacks str8 line pressure, he doeant hardly track his opponents, his movements are clunky. U go to put your sword up and get punished. Heavy pressure stunts his offense.

Of course you do Paul. Why wouldn't you? After all he's done. All he's taken away from you. For those of you that dont know Ill fill you in. Back in the day, his mother developed the habit of snorting illegal substances off of genitals in an alleyway on the weekends to try and escape the regret she harbored for getting pregnant with him.
