Goodness the start of this video was a sight to behold with all those polished aluminium tanks an assortment of makes and engines. One of the Bantams had a very crisp engine note. It could have been a modern two stroke with 'almost' performance to match. The Viper was a surprise but there was another big four stroke a bit later (Ariel?). What did surprise me was the Triumph twin. I used a 500cc Triumph twin engine in one of my scrambles bikes (about 50 years ago) and that bike was far to ready to spin the back wheel at a touch of the throttle - not exactly what you want in a trials bike. It was good to see a few dabs and even some fives well into the video as the sections were looking too easy at the beginning. Hey, I was surprised to see that Sammy Miller is still with us (touch wood). He must be nearly 90 now.

Thank you for a lovely video. And it was thoughtful of the organisers to leave a classic land rover in shot, too!
