This must be the best airline sketch. I wish this was real. I'd definitely fly with them even if it didn't leave Yorkshire airspace. As a Yorkshireman, I can say that it is true to all the stereotypes (yes we do say "ey up"). It helps that Gareth Hale is a Yorkshireman which lends credibility to the sketch.

I put up one or two of their spots which I found on a VHS cassette from 1988 but better than that there is a channel called Worzel's the dogs private parts (or something like that) where you can see the lot. But be quick as I fear the whole lot could be taken down.

@@zoekenny3619 It's probably to do with either people who watch videos similar to you enjoying this video, or a certain number of people, who like videos related to this video, liked this video, so KZread recommended it to a wider audience. Either that or a similar video has recently gained popularity, thus recommending this one. I.e if Ed Sheeran releases a new single, Ed Sheeran interviews and cover videos will start to get views, because searches for Ed Sheeran and the Ed Sheeran music video is gaining traction, so the algorithm starts to promote related content. There are tons of videos on how the algorithm works, just search for them, you'll learn something.

If it was only circling round then maybe, as a mile is only 5,280 feet, any plane going anywhere would normally be around 25,000 feet plus, or about five miles.😀.

As both a Yorkshire lass and "Air Doris" (flight attendant on a Canadian airline), can't tell you how many times I wanted to say "Shut up and belt up!" 😂

idk bout flying but they blend my fav tea.

How the hell did those two go from the biggest draw on Saturday night television to obscurity over night ? What a loss to entertainment when you look at the dross we have to put up with now

I think their lives changed with personal stuff? Were they not a front for many writers? Writers and producers move on to other artists I suppose. I thought they were pretty good and the stuff still stands up.

Comedy tastes change. They had 10 years of success (which is impressive in itself) but ratings inevitably dropped towards the end of their run. There is still plenty of decent comedy around these days if you know where to look.
