One of the reasons Teo Yoo character stood out to me was his wife. No societal pressures, love who you love freely. The bond is what's important. Plus the man can cook, win/win. German born Korean who can flex in English.

@@Mikasaxx0 Both his parents are South Korean who immigrated to Germany. He was born and raised in Germany.... then went to New York as an adult. That's why his English is so good.. Lived in the UK too.

Watched a drama where he was the male lead and fell in love unexpectedly haha. Went to his Instagram and found that he likes EVERY SINGLE ONE of his partner's posts. He is literally the sweetest man on Earth. They've been married since 2007 and his wife advocates for social issues. I wish the best for this couple

Its not Russian food, but mostly Uzbek. Even on plates hung on the wall is written Samarkand, its a city in Uzbekistan. So, summary, Uzbek food is really delicious:)

Im sorry, i didn't watch this show. But tbh, im quiet impress that he can speak Uzbek language... HOWEVER, im more surprise that restaurant was not in Uzbekistan, it was in KOREA lol.. I thought they are travelling there 🤣🤣

What cracks me up is seeing foods from the former USSR republics where there were so many 'stans' which are not "Slav" or my cousins' birthplace, Georgia, where dishes are treated as 'Russian'.

The first 40 seconds were a microaggression, why is nobody talking about it? They are at a restaurant in Korea, of course the server speaks Korean.. the guests assuming that the server doesn't understand any Korean is just awfully ignorant and belittling. Even worse that he had to say he's been there for 25 years.

It’s likely this was planned by the production crew. Observational variety shows sometimes intentionally set up these types of scenarios to provide talking points for the panel, etc. and so that guests can show off an interesting personal skill
