It’s ironic that the American-Korean community has a German-Korean as an awardee. But good for him that they recognize his contributions to the American-Korean community. It was an interesting anecdote where he felt too cold with the air-conditioning in the U.S. probably because in Germany air-conditioning is not that common even in office buildings. As a side note, I want to watch a series or film with Teo Yoo and Take yon as brothers. I think they look very similar.

As a Korean American myself, it would be very interesting to find out if he considers himself German or Korean. I was born and raised in the US with having lived in South Korea for 7 years. When you move there, i quickly realized I'm not Korean as the adjustment was rough (some things i still couldn't adjust to). Would love to hear his unfiltered insights into Germany, what it means to him, how he views himself in that way. I hope he gets to tell that story someday
