I keep the bowl in which I set yoghurt on inverter or stabilizer and cover it with a thick cloth.

Yogurt is created by bacterial fermentation of milk by using yogurt culture that consists of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophiles.both are very different.

Thank you for this recipe! I will surely try this! Just one suggestion while cutting the plastic milk bag. Please do not cut apart the triangle out. Keeping it attached to the plastic bag amd not cutting it apart makes it recyclable with the bag and not add to the plastic waste :) just thought to leave this comment, hope that is taken well :) thank you again

Mein toh aur confuse ho gyi for yoghurt, greek yoghurt and curd...To me they all are same!!as they all use live bacteria to form??? What i see here is flavoured hung yoghurt or flavoured greek yogurt!!! Please clarify🙏

*Galaxy Shopacoholic* , Curd normal dahi ko khete hai jisme one good Bacteria hota hai lekin yogurt me two good Bacteria paae jata hai jo health ke liye kafi ache hote hai. dahi khane me khatta hota hai yhi yogurt khane me halka mitha hota hai

When you hang curd/ yogurt (in a muslin or cotton cloth & tie the four ends) to remove all liquid - the remaining thick curd cheese left over is called "hung yogurt/ curd". This is how Maharashtrian people make "Shrikand " - a delicious dessert - with addition of sugar +elaichi+ Kesar!
