Yogurt cake: 3 ingredients / No added sugar and no flour

No time to cook ? This yogurt cake is made in 2 minutes (excluding cooking and rest in the fridge). Perfect for a light dessert after dinner or lunch. Without flour and without added sugar (we use here a sweetened or flavored natural yogurt). Good tasting !

Ingredients:
400 g sweetened plain yogurt or flavored yogurt (1 cup + 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons)
4 eggs
40 g of sifted cornstarch (¼ cup + 1 tbsp)

I made this last night. I added two tablespoons honey, cinnamon, and a dash of salt. It was really good. The next time I'm going to add the juice and rind of one lemon, cinnamon and top with 1 c sour cream mixed with two tablespoons sugar. This is a great dessert recipe for healthy eating. Thanks!!

I would have grated some lime or lemon rind to remove any egginess and give a fresh citrus fruitiness.

@@miszczklepka OMG Agave is absolutely loaded with fructose! Way worse than sugar!
Did this yesterday for the third time. This time I used soja yogurt no sugar (alpro), added frozen mix berries, and I always put cinnamon on top. It's SO delicious. I do taste a bit there is no sugar but with the berries it's balancing and it's really good 😊 So to those who were asking if you can use vegan yogurt : yes you can!

Unbelievable - SO GOOD!! I used 0% fat yoghurt, erythritol and potato starch as didn’t have corn but my goodness it was exactly like a baked cheesecake, and barely any calories, you could have this for a healthy high protein breakfast!!!! My new favourite thing.

😣 Sounds like it would taste like a bitter version of Spanish Flan 😣 or a very bland cheesecake 😣 But I guess for people on a very low calorie diet, this might satisfy them (just don't serve it to people that haven't been on any diets) lol

Merci beaucoup pour cette recette si simple. Je viens de la faire hier et c'est vraiment un délice à la texture entre le flan pâtissier et le cheese cake cuit. Ayant pris du yaourt au soja nature j'ai aromatisé avec de la vanille en poudre et en extrait. J'ai sucré avec 4 CS de sirop d'agave. Avant d'enfourner j'ai parsemé de noix de coco râpée. Cuisson 50 min à 180 / 200 °C car sinon ça ne cuisait pas dans mon vieux four à gaz (sans chaleur tournante). Résultat magnifique et surtout vraiment succulent 🙏❤️✨ . Je réessayerai la prochaine fois avec une pâte brisée en dessous comme pour les flans pâtissiers.

With Soy yoghurt! Interesting. Thank you for the idea, my daughter-in-law she’s vegan, I would like to make her one day to surprise her. I’d like to use Monk fruit or Xylitol Birch instead of sugar or any syrup to see how it goes with it. Thanks again for the idea 💐

I made the recipe this week, using vanilla Greek yogurt. It came out just like in the video! I was so excited to try it once it baked and cooled, but...it was very tart! The texture was great, but I wasn't expecting the taste (I guess I assumed the flavor would be sweeter?). So, today I cooked some fresh blueberries with a few tsps. of agave, let it thicken and cool, and then poured a small amount over the cake. What a difference! Delish!

@@carolel2851 I have made these type of cakes before. And yes, it is better with vanilla. I don't know if it's a good idea with custard powder? And a fruit or jam topping, makes it just more delicious! . 👍😋

@@carolel2851 I have made pavlova with custard powder instead of corn starch and it works perfect, just a slightly different taste, but yummy as.

THat's what I was thinking. Not really necessary to add sugar - cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc., all would do the trick.

@@redtickhound It looks like parchment paper. You can get it in the supermarket in the section with plastic wraps and aluminum foil.

I baked it today. It turned out really good! With 325F took definitely longer than 50 mins. Probably 1hr 1/2 until top was golden brown! I served it with roasted strawberries on top! It was delicious 👍🥰

Bonjour. Je viens de le faire avec des yaourts à la grecque à la noix de coco. Zéro efforts, gâteau/flan réussi, doré et fondant. Raisonnable pour les calories 👍. Je l’ai fait dans un moule à cake rectangulaire, ça fait de jolies tranches. Merci pour cette recette.

@@mar.san.9870 Si, tienes toda razón ! Me pregunté lo mismo pues de hecho el papel de hornear aqui no es necesario, es mucho más facil y lógico poner la receta directamente en un molde.

OK, I made it today with custard powder instead of cornstarch simply because I could not locate the cornstarch. It was absolutely fine, in fact next time I will add vanilla. I made the recipe x 1/2, as my dish was bigger. So the full recipe and half as much again. It cooked beautifully in my woodstove which if I remember was at 180C at the time. Once it looked perfectly golden I removed it, cooled it and refrigerated it. I tried it warm and cold with some thawed berry fruit and by itself and it was very pleasant. I would make it again. So quick, it wasn’t funny.

I tried it right now.It is now in the oven. I' ll serve it with mixed strawberrys.I put some bourbonvanille- aroma into the yoghurt
This was very good and very easy to make. I used key lime flavored 2% fat Greek yogurt (sweetened) and baked as directed in an 7” pan. It took about 55 minutes to get nice and brown on top. Next time I will a couple of tablespoons of lemon or lime juice for extra flavor. It keeps well in the refrigerator for a few days.
