Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that uses a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This guided yoga nidra starts with a breathing technique taught by Dr. Andrew Huberman from Huberman Labs. His research from Stanford shows that this particular breathing technique calms the nervous system and is the quickest way to activate the parasympathetic (relaxation, rest & digest) response.
In this yoga nidra guided meditation to relax you will be guided through a body scan to calm the nervous system, It’s a 25 minute yoga nidra guided relaxation for stress relief. This guided meditation includes a relaxation technique that I learned from Andrew Huberman which is the double inhale long exhale breath. It’s a 25min yoga nidra script lead by Ally Boothroyd of Sarovara Yoga that is perfect for stress management. Lay down, relax, rest and meditate all at the same time!
This 25 minute yoga nidra with gentle binaural beats aids in deep relaxation through the effortless guided meditation of yoga nidra (nidra meaning sleep). When listening to the relaxing music, let yourself relax and be guided into a deep state of effortless meditation. I have always been a very light sleeper, and therefore a very poor sleeper. Your yoga Nidra sessions have changed my sleep drastically. I often don’t finish them consciously because I fall asleep. But I know my subconscious was eased as I have such restful, uninterrupted sleep and wake up lighter. Last night, I did this one for the first time. Didn’t even get up to pee. Closed my eyes…woke up with the sun from a deep, heavenly sleep. Thank you, Ally. Your work is healing. ❤
I am on a 10 hour plane ride which is only part of a 37 hour trip to Thailand to do a yoga retreat. I had a completely horrible anxiety attack as soon as we took off and immediately regretted taking the trip at all. I’m still debating whether I have it in me to make the rest of the trip or fly home immediately, but your videos have helped me so much. I listened to this video first and it took me out of the extreme torturous trapped feeling. Thank you so much ♥️

Namaste! 🙏 I am practicing from central Ohio around 1:30 P.M. on Sept. 3, 2023. I loved the awareness at the center of the palms as on the way back from the fingers, they felt like they were bursting with light and sensation. Maybe it was caused by first focusing at the base of the thumb or knuckle. I could have soaked my attention there for a few more moments as it was quite pleasant. It's interesting that Ally did mention visualizing light at the soles of the feet and the crown if the head later. I noticed that my mind wandered when the audio around the breath awareness went a little low. I gently guided my attention back in a more self-guided way until I could hear the instructions again. Also, asa note to myself, repeating Ally's intention a few times before finishing repeating my Sankalpa worked like a mantra or affirmation combo. I felt myself even more relaxed and drifting at the border of drowsiness and trace awareness. I would have loved a few more moments of silence to savor this, but since this was a shorter practice, the externalization instructions started moments later.😅

I had a dream of my mom two days ago, that never happens. I felt a sense of urgency, cancelled my holidays and came back to visit her. I found her in a very strange shape, I had to insist a lot so that the urgencies came and took her to the hospital after several hours of negotiating with them. She had CVA, she is still in hospital right now and I prey for her to leave in peace or come back in a good shape. This peaceful, beautiful, Yoga Nidra is giving me a good release of the emotions that invade me : sadness, anxiety, fear. Thank you for this moment of peace, calm and relaxation. Namaste.
