I have several issues in my low back. After trying everything else, I was ready and scheduled to undergo double-fusion surgery. By chance, just before the surgery date, I was encouraged to give yoga a try, and stumbled onto this vide. Almost immediately I felt an improvement in my pain and mobility. I postponed the surgery and continued doing this video everyday. Fast forward 2.5 years - my back and hamstrings are feeling great, and my mobility is awesome. AND surgery was avoided 😁. The video has become baked into my morning routine ... Thank You David! continue to do this video almost every single day

It’s very scary to think that someone would perform that extensive 80% fail rate surgery on you before. trying some thing like this. It makes me really question the medical community.

I'm with you on this. This video makes me feel the absolute BEST and I've been practicing yoga for 15 years. This one is just amazing.
I actually cried at the end. This gentleman is a wonderful instructor. It’s never about him- it’s entirely about the practice. He doesn’t pop off into silly chit chat and he is thorough in the instructions… even timely with breathing flow. I’m dedicated to his yoga videos now 😊 grateful !
I've suffered from hip and low back issues for 6 years, that no doctor, chiropractor, orthopedic doctor, or massage therapist could help me with. Still don't know what's wrong but yoga has been the only thing that has helped, and this video is now my favorite for when I'm really needing to stretch out my hips and low back. Thank you so much! In terms of massage - try Ka'Huna Bodywork ( Hawaiian Massage) in your area.. Its the best. It has been a few years since this comment and I hope your life has improved. All the best...

When I was in the Corp, the recon and marsoc guys did yoga for workouts then go on 10 miles swims and shit. Yoga aint no joke. I’ve started doing yoga ever since.

Frankly the best Yoga video I have come across. The music is so relaxing, the pace is absolutely perfect... not too fast and not too slow. The stretches deepening as you get the space and time to focus on them, and your mental state together with the physical stretches also gets the right time and attention to slow down... almost as if my brain waves were slowing down through the various exercises. The background is also very invigorating, I like the nature and the shivasana in the end. There is not too much talking either, just enough to feel and perform the routine perfectly. Thank you!!!

GO TO VIDEO! This always makes my hips and back pain ‘magically’go away ❤
10 minutes in, my dog fell asleep with his soothing voice. 40 minutes in, my yoga partner (my hubby) is snoring on his yoga mat... I would've fallen asleep too if it wasn't for the snoring. Most relaxing yoga I've ever done.

I am looking for a personal Yoga Instructor/personal trainer. I am a 25 year old male and former athlete. The reason I am looking for a Yoga teacher to work with is because I have some muscle imbalances that have been giving me issues for the past 6 months. Some history: I had 3 Ankle Sprains on my right ankle (the last one occurring about 3 years ago in 2012) which caused weakness and compensation in the left ankle/foot as well. I have remained active up until recently when it seems the old injury has affected me. It has led my right leg being Functionally shorter than the other (about 3cm) because of Tight Hip Flexors, IT Band, and Piriformis on both sides of my body, especially the right side.

WONDERFUL YOGA CLASS! BEAUTIFUL OUTDOOR SETTING WITH CUTE LITTLE DUCKS! This is by far one of my favorite! It is so effective at soothing sore muscles, releasing tightness in the hips and tension in the lower back. I LOVE DAVID! He is an amazing teacher! I would LOVE to see a YIN YOGA class from David- just holding the postures longer would be Heavenly!

I would also love yin yoga classes from David! I have missed sitting in a position long enough to really feel that deep sensation when doing this and the 30 minute hip release video. But they are still great!

I've been doing this on the do yoga with me website for 2 years, and just realised today that it is on youtube thanks to someone who commented there. Straight to the top of my yoga playlists! This is the best.
At this time in my yoga practice, I find David's very Hatha style to be perfect. I do all of his classes over and over, and except for the music, i never get tired of them 😉. I enjoy his pace, the length of hold, the difficulty level is just right. I find David is the most egoless yoga teacher on youtube, maybe with Esther Eckhart ( but she charges $$) and that means his yoga is about giving a gift away rather than showing off and over talking. His classes are grounding, solid, with expertise that is rare. I love the focus on the back and legs. His body is built and moves/resists in the same way as mine, so that I have support for my practice, that is getting more difficult with age. I have a self acceptance with these videos that I rarely find in other yoga classes. Thank you David Procyshyn.

I have been practicing yoga on the regular for 15 years now, and this video in particular is the one that still makes my body feel the absolute best. My body LOVES it. This was perfect! The subtle calling of the trees the calming music, you’re calm delivery all convey a sense of ease and promote peace of mind. I am a yoga teacher, mindfulness-based psychologist, and this in my opinion has been one of the best guided yoga sessions I have ever experienced. I will refer many of my patients to this and your other guided yoga sessions. Many otherGuided yoga sessions move too quickly in my opinion, so that we breeze on through several of the poses not allowing our bodies to adapt, our muscles’ resistance to let go. I am new to yoga, but found that this really helped with my lower back and some hip pain that has likely resulted from sitting at a desk all day. I've only done the class twice, but found I could follow along pretty well and do most of the moves. I like the pace of the routine. Found your instructions clear and easy to follow without looking at the screen most of the time.
