Welcome yogis to today's yoga flow class focusing on the liver and gallbladder meridians. This practice is designed to stimulate and balance these vital energy pathways, promoting detoxification, improving digestion, and enhancing overall vitality. Through a series of targeted poses, breath work, and mindful movements, you'll support your body's natural detox processes and invigorate your energy flow.
Energetically the gallbladder is said to be the embodiment of courage representing bravery, the overcomer of obstacles, discernment, integrity and justice. The inherent energy of the Liver is the soul’s vision and purpose, the master planner. An essential feature of liver chi health is flexibility and the ability to change and adapt; being able to follow your path without deviation or distraction and also regain equilibrium after adversities. When there is an imbalance in these energetic pathways we may be quick to get frustrated or anger, experience an inability to plan or over plan, feel disconnected from purpose, stagnant, social awkwardness, indecisive and a tendency to give up when faced with adversity.
This class is suitable for all levels though be sure you have a yoga block or pillow close by if you're tight in the hips 😉
