Imagine you’re performing on stage and the audience gets into a massive brawl, but you still have to finish your set

that was hell of an early mosh pit

Gereon punching the SS with gusto is one of my favourite scenes from series 4. Another one is when Charlotte gatecrashes the Weisse Hand trial with blazing guns. Series 4 is very good overall, and there are very interesting characters and storylines, e.g. this one about the Stennes' revolt. However, my favourite remains Series 2.

I mean, objectively the best scene is Fritz surprising Greta with a surprise picnic and beer at the lake, but those are good too

SA was always better at brawling due to them being a general public nuisance and causing fights in the streets.

One thing i don't understand is why none of the ss or sa brownshirts ever wear the shoulder board, it made sense that some wouldn't have it, before washing the shirt they'd have to remove all the patches to prevent staining the uniform, but if that was the case they'd have to remove the collar tabs and the colored wool top band of their kepis. One possible reason is the unusual way the original sa shoulder boards were attached on the sa shirts, they were directly sewn, the end os the sa shoulder board always had lots of threads all over the shirt, they were not easily removable and looked very unpractical unlike the ss ones on the m32 uniforms, they had a little hole on the shoulder and they'd slide it in and sew it from under the tunic to prevent it from looking like a mess

​@@foxesrox21 Nobody said they were above hypocrisy or cheap entertainment. Plenty of the Nazi paramilitaries at this time were just bored young men who had no job and nothing else to do (which is also why so many SA militants were former Communist paramilitaries too). Should also note that men dressing as women for the sake of comedy has always been a thing, Shakespearean plays in the 1500s were performed with all male actors for instance, so it wouldn't have been particularly weird to see it on stage.

Stefan Dettl was cast as the King of Yodel, which is what this character is introduced as in this scene, so yes, it is yodel king

@@TohGahr This is probably based on Franzl Lang, and intended to be the character, as the show uses certain elements that aren't perfect chronologically / era accurate, if it doesn't affect the plotline. Why would there be multiple well-known yodelers known as the King of Yodel? It's more likely they're the same person, and that this character is the yodel king.
