I routinely ask folks : What's the heaviest..I mean THE heaviest thing you have ever heard..it's never YOB..and I correct them by having them listen to the album version of this...this was excellent!
I saw that it was "Burning the Altar", then looked at the length of clip and got a bit concerned. I'm so glad it pretty much started at THE main part of the song!!!!! HEAVY.
40 years of studying music and this is the heaviest song I’ve ever heard

Arthur H. I’m familiar with both and even saw Sunn with Xasthur live a few years back in Cambridge MA. I guess Yob just hits it right on for me.

@@thesecondson30 I'm a fan of Sunn and Yob. Different kinds of heavy.

@@ahnhenden Sunn O)) is about volume and tone. This is barbaric in the best possible way. Amazes me that YOB can write Beauty in Falling Leaves and hit us with this. What a great band.

@@ahnhenden Sunn O))) and Earth are both lazy drone bands. Shit music and I don't find them heavy.
this is earth crushingly heavy
Sound guy deserves a Grammy for 0:18 - 0:21 alone
YOB IS love 🖤💜🔥
could this show please be one of the concert a day uploads? yob is love!
Holly Smokes. Was waiting for this one. The footage gives justice to the raw live energy of being there live. Amazing
I bought an amplifier from mike and i haven't even cleaned it off it makes me feel good knowing all that kickass music was once played through the amp.

Travis once said in an interview he would tend to play a zildjian avedis 24 for live shows. its hard to tell just by the looks but a paiste 2002 would sound not as washy as this one

Looks like a Ufip 24" . Vintage Ritmo Series (the brand was engraved not printed).
These metal genres have become so cookie-cutter and predictable. It’s as if there’s a DMV-style rules manual out there that all the new bands have to obey.
