Heyy chris, thankyou so much I’m pleased you enjoyed it! Yes the storm added to it 💯.. I was nervous with the leaky tent but it was warm enough so didn’t really matter .. I’ve got a new one now, so hopefully not an issue again! 😁

We were up there about the same time as you, camped along a way by the pepper pot lighthouse. You cannot beat being out there, well anywhere, especially on the island of lovers. Ah the romance... @@barefoot_ventures Aw thanks Char! Well, the great hope for 2024 is to take about 5 days to wild camp around the Isle of Wight. Or the isles of Scilly or maybe Lindisfarne! FYI you won't have any bother if you park over night in the main carpark. I've had a note put on the car when I parked at one of the small car parks off to the side part way down but nothing in the main car park.

I love Newborough beach and its golden sands and usaully so quiet! Brill video and a nice little adventure having the island to yourself! thx for sharing

Yes I always think newborough is busy but only just in front of the car park.. people don’t usually make it much past the first bit. Great memories were made 😁

Did the tide not come in to the cove where you were camped? I visit this beach a few times per year but im doing my first wild camp there this weelend and trying to locate the best spot xx

It cuts off the island from the mainland but doesn’t cover it all 😁

oooh definitely going to do the same! may be a silly question but how did you know there wasn't going to be a high tide😅

There was a high tide.. but I checked the tide times.. I was cut off from the mainland for a few hours but I was chilling .. it didn’t matter 🙃

Got ‘trapped’ on the island when the tide caught us out and had to piggyback my 2 granddaughters waist deep through the sea!!😊

Wild camping is not legal anywhere in England and wales but you will usually be left alone if you practice a leave no trace policy. Tide times ask the internet

Absolutely I did.. as much as I love taking you all along for the ride.. I often get to a spot.. film bits first and then completely switch off from the socials and enjoy it in my own time 🙂

Sooo much warmer than the rivers I’m used to! ☺️

I was born and bred on Anglesey and Ynys Llanddwyn is a beautiful spot. Spent countless days on the beach and in the forest as children. Enjoy Anglesey, there's so much to see and do. You need to check the beaches and the coastline on the other side of Anglesey such as Dulas, Lligwy, you won't be disappointed👍💖
