I’m a lesbian comic and a Libertarian who has been cancelled multiple times for calling out the lunacy of the Rainbow Mafia and the TQIA. I had a friend who liked Hannah’s first special so I took their challenge and sat through the whole special so I could speak fairly about it. It was so bad it took me 3 different sittings to finish it. There was only one joke and it was mediocre at best. The rest was an anti-male diatribe that in no way resembled a standup show. She’s not a comedian. She does hilariously slanted Regressive Leftie lectures that belong on Ted talks. Writing a killer joke that works in every room is hard work and you can tell by Hannah’s ever increasing girth, she’s not a fan of hard work 😅Sadly there are some extremely talented female comics and gay comics performing. Unfortunately the one who is getting paid specials is the tired old wind-bag with a pole up her rather large behind. That’s how the Beast System works, it’s designed to disillusion and dishearten us. Hang in there. DEI is dead on Wall Street. The lawsuits are happening and they’re winning. America is not destroyed it’s under attack and we will not stop protecting Freedom Speech and Individual Liberty. 💪🏼

I have done a couple hundred stand up sets and I've met MANY queer comedians that NEVER brought up that shit in their sets. But these comics, like a lot of female comics, are so narcissistic they think talking about themselves wins the room. Like shorty, the majority of people in the room are men, the period jokes arnt gonna hit, it's not that youre a woman, it's that you're telling jokes for yourself and not the audience. It's best as a comedian to not talk about yourself unless it's in the context anyone can enjoy. I have a clean set about what life's like with a service dog, BUT, it only works because my service dog is on the stage with me, without him there that set simply wouldn't land. Some comedians focus to much on themselves and Hannah, professionally, only has this platform because of DEI. She isn't funny, she doesn't make other comedians laugh. I gotta pay to sit through 90 minutes of being told I'm the problem? Yeah, that shit isn't selling tickets fam.

I canceled my Netflix subscription a while back, and I got a 6.99 offer to come back the other day. If this is the kind of content they have now, I think I'll pass...

I've seen Dave Chapppelle and laughed myself silly, thought about issues and even become a little tearful before laughing again. And I've sat through a Hannah Gadsby special and.... it was special. Not a smile, just amazed at someone giving a platform to someone to rant and rage but with no soul. Which pretty much sums up woke comedy for me.

It is all about hypocrisy with them. If we get mad at about adjectives, TFB. If they get mad about pronouns, jail us all.

I don't understand, was the audiance paid to laugh? They (collective, not pronoun bs) were as funny as catching your little toe on the corner of furniture.

I never hear about Gadsby until she did her Netflix special. I mention this because I am Australian and if she were a popular comedian I would have heard of her. Instead she is a boutique outrage snark-machine who will have slowly risen to the top in a small pond of a particular fringe group and that was her credential for getting the Netflix show no one liked.

10:50 It's called intersectionality. According to these people you _can_ make jokes at the expense of other people as long as you are "punching up". Since they see all social relationships as a giant oppression hierarchy they have no problem making jokes at the expense of other people they perceive as 'privileged', but those same supposedly privileged people aren't allowed to "punch down" on them because they're oppressed enough as it is. If anyone they perceive as less oppressed jokes about them, they lose their minds. This doesn't stop at jokes by the way, it goes much much further than that. In other words, "One rule for me, another for thee". They don't want equality, which would be where everyone can either make jokes at each others' expense or else no-one can. They want actual privilege under the guise of oppression.

I’m so glad I unsubscribed from NETFLIX over 3 years olds to avoid this filth, long before I heard about DEI and “the message”.

They received the "reverse bbt": they got prerecorded laugh tracks to make them seem minimally fun... God, in most of them used the same track 2-3 times in a row and it shows ...

Gadsby is not a comedian. Gadsby is not funny, no matter how much laugh track you surround him with. He is aging ghoulishly.

3:51 the point of adult comedy is to be offensive to everyone equally. That’s what Dave Chappelle is.

When people like Robin Williams did stand up, we fell on the floor laughing because we were in awe of his ideas. Even the older guys like Redd Fox and Red Skelton… oh, and Lenny Bruce blew yer guts out. This angry agenda driven content preaches to the choir.

This is part of the reason I dumped Netflix. The only reason I had them was for the disks. I did not watch any of their shows, as they were not worth watching.

The only good Netflix show was Bojack Horseman and that was the writing and casting

They should have called it "The Angry Activist Special" I much prefer Jeff Dunham no matter how many times I watch his specials I laugh!

One of the reasons why I stopped paying for Netflix is because they're decreased in quality of comedy specials and I'm not surprised this is the direction they went

She gets on stage, has a meltdown, then leaves. And this passes as comedy I guess.
