If you're against Yiheng, Mid/Low 4 range is beatable for him. Considering he has quite a few official averages withing the Mid 4 range.

That kid is unbelievable. Excited to see the finals!

Who would've thought like 40 years ago, when just knowing how to solve a cube was impressive, that in these days a 6 sec solve would be a bad solve😨

@@microsoftrock wdym? He consistently outpreforms them. I mean it isn't even close. Their averages at home are barely his average in comp, and he doesn't go to a lot of comps compared to them. If somone consistently outperforms the competition that makes them better. All of these guys outperform me, thats why they are better than me. Idk what you don't understand here...

Just at other videos on this channel and many others, you will see many times where yiheng will lose and unexpectedly underperform. Open your eyes, who won Worlds 2023? Just a few videos back, matty beat yiheng. Idk what you don't understand here. I'm just waiting for someone else to break his world record, because it will happen. Yiheng is for sure a top cuber, but he is not better than max park, he is probably tied.

​@@ashneel5203 the matches in the previous seasons were bo5 sets with bo7 sets for play offs and bo9 sets for finals. However in this season, normal matches are bo3 sets and play offs are bo5 sets so I would expect finals to be bo7 sets

Okay I’ve watched it. THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. My face was like :O the entire time. Yiheng was so fast and smooth what on EARTH. Seeing so many 4 second solves and even a SUB 4 must be so nerve racking to go against - I’m not surprised Matty started falling apart so quickly. I’ve been watching some of the older monkey league seasons whilst waiting for this, and I think it would be great if the semi finals could’ve been a best of 7 at least. And Definitely for the grand final. I think everyone agrees we prefer the longer matches, unless it’s like 45 mins long. And it even gives the competitors a chance to collect themselves if the nerves are getting to them, so they can make a strong comeback.

We still have to see if he practices it. I mean my OH tps is way faster than that, but can't be that hard on him since his hand size is a limitation. Its just hard to tell fight now.

Also after watching the older seasons, it’s crazy now how a 5.78 solve from Yiheng at 2:38 is “leaving the door open” for Matty 😂 And then a 4.72 at 3:29 and a 4.77 at 4:14 aren’t that impressive anymore for Phillip (who’s narrating) because he’s seen so many solves that were even faster from these competitors

Didnt even watch it yet but I would like to express some frustration that on saturday when I checked the website to see when the semi-final were taking place prior to this being posted, the results were already shown and got spoiled for me. I really love this series but im really upset that I know the winner going into the video. In the future, please consider not posting results until the video is posted.
