Yeti Roadie 24 Updated Review | How is this cooler holding up after 3 years?? More Expensive Now??

Ойын-сауық

Hear our latest opinion on the Yeti Roadie 24 Hard Sided Cooler that we purchased three years ago at a price point of $200. This cooler has been put to the test over the last three years and has held up wonderfully. We would say that the durability is potentially this coolers biggest benefit.
Check out our first review of this cooler for a more detailed look at the features as well as an ice retention test from start to finish. • YETI ROADIE 24 HARD CO...

This is the most useful Roadie 24 review on KZread because I’m curious most about durability and especially the longevity of the plastic latches

I picked this up last summer in rescue red for $250 Worth every penny in my opinion. I just ordered the tundra haul in big wave blue. Great review bro!

Mine is now almost 2 years ago and still rocks. It also makes a nice extra chair. Very sturdy

I just bought a navy blue one today. I work for UPS and was using A Yeti Hopper, but the ice would always be gone by 2:30, plus it was a little small. This cooler should do the trick, and I will keep the other one for car trips.

Yeah this one will outperform the hopper all day! Thanks for the feedback

I went to use this cooler in person at an Academy sporting goods store. Damn latches pinched me and I saw a review where the latches just came undone when knocked over. Makes me wish it had the old, rubber things. I certainly don’t think it’s $250. That’s crazy.

Hi. Thank you so much for your review! And your experience does this cooler sweat at all? And if so, which part of it does? Thanks again! Awesome video.

Thanks for doing this video update. It’s very useful. I got my Roadie 24 for $134 at Navy Exchange. Not planning to buy it but the price was the deciding factor. It’s my first cooler.

It was sold out immediately online. But I went back to the store and to my surprise there’s one left so I bought another one 😜. Now I have two Roadie 24, first cooler to be used for cold drinks & second cooler for cold food. I can’t wait to use them.

Surprised your lid hasn’t warped. I had a navy tundra 65 and after couple weeks the lid warped due to the sunlight and darker color. Yeti replaced it with a tan one no questions asked. I have a roadie too in red and I’m having a hard time keeping the ice in it. Doesn’t keep the ice for more than a day… maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I'm surprised to hear those things. It sounds like you have had some bad experiences with yeti, but at least the customer service sounds good!

Are you doing the pre chill of the cooler? Putting already cold drinks in there? Sure you shouldn't have to do that on an expensive cooler, but Yeti and all the cooler brands advise you to.

No drain plug makes these a easy 3.5 in all honesty on a 5 star ⭐️ rating !!! Yeti dropped the ball on the 24

We hear you! From personal experience though it’s not a deal breaker for us. It’s lightweight enough to just tip on the edge if needed. Less chance of a leak as well!

Drain plugs always end up getting molded out and harboring bacteria. Not a need for this small of one

We agree it’s overpriced but it’s hard to argue the performance performance and longevity of Yeti.
